The Ginger People Original Gin Gins Chewy Ginger Candy - 4.5 oz

It was hard to find consistently positive reviews among any of the sellers of this fine product but I decided to take a chance of this one. (I had previously bought them at a store which has since closed.) I am satisfied with this product and this seller. The taste is consistent with the store-bought chews - that fiery hot ginger that I grew to love. The concentrated ginger in them eases my minor digestive problems - the primary reason I consume them, as I am not generally a big candy eater. They are a bit hard but I think it has to do with temperature more than anything. Where I live it is cold now so they are hard. Leave them in your mouth for a bit and they get soft. Not a defect in the product, just the way it is. (Not advisable to warm them prior to unwrapping, e.g. by leaving them in a hot car, as the wrapper will be hard to remove. I know this from past experience...)

Often times the only nonsedating way to calm my and my family's nausea or upset tummy. Also convenient packaging. Great taste, but be prepared that ginger is spicy. It's very chewy, like stick in your teeth kind of way. I still keep it around just in case.

I recently discovered a few different brands of ginger chews, but this one is definitely my favorite. The taste of ginger is unmistakably present without becoming overwhelming. The texture is a little more tough (at first) than some other brands, but is not too bad. I have TMJ so things like gum and caramel are an unfortunate no for me, but these soften up quickly to a manageable texture.

I love these and only wish my cavity fillings would let me eat more of them. They are spicy and extremely satisfying if you like ginger and peanuts (which I do). Just don't chew them on top of your fillings or capped teeth. You've been warned.

If you like real ginger, you will love these! Excellent for motion sickness (and just for pure enjoyment) but they really aren't a chewable candy, nor a hard candy but somewhere in between.

These are so hard and stale that you can’t eat them. Even putting them in your mouth and sucking on them doesn’t work. Note also that they aren’t returnable, so you are just screwed. You can’t return them and they can’t be eastern.

Love the gin gins as they instantly solve an upset stomach on the go. The freshness was great and they have a strong flavor but one that will ultimately rid you of a stomach ache without having the drink all the sugar in a ginger ale. Love them!!

these are my very most favorite ginger chews. not too sweet, and a nice perky flavor. some people don't like the chewy texture, but I usually don't chew them....the flavor lasts longer if you let them dissolve in your mouth like a lozenge. I love them!

Help my digestion so much after meals better instead of taking Tums or something.

The box is very small and it cost 3 times more than other packaging
