NARS Cosmetics Space Odyssey, Silver Nail Polish, 0.5-fluid Ounce

Purple Rain is a gorgeous royal purple with pink and blue microglitter. This beauty was nearly perfect in one coat, but I applied two because I missed a couple spots. The formula isn't overly thick and is an absolute dream to apply. My only complaint is that the square cap and fairly short brush makes application a little awkward, but it's not enough of an issue to make me knock off a star.

Love this color. Takes two coats to get an even finish and it chipped a lot. However, since paid less than retail value, I am very satisfied and will use this all fall/winter!

The color is horrible, nothing like what it looks like in the picture .it was very expensive and they won’t let me return it

I've been a longtime fan of NARS' Orgasm blush for years and purchased this nail color last spring I believe. After experimenting with several other colors over the summer, this is just my hands-down favorite for toes. Also lovely on hands, but I think you just cannot go wrong with this color as toenail polish. It's simply beautiful- I'm not straying beyond this, Opi's Topless and Barefoot and red anymore.

In the bottle, this nail polish has a gorgeous color. I was excited to try it on. Right off the starting gate, the brush is not great. So I stole a nice brush from another polish I had, cleaned it off, and that helped it go on smoothly. First coat- looked very thin, just a wash of color, and much more yellow-gold than one would expect from looking at it in the bottle. I know this is just me, but the yellowish color made me think of fingernails discolored from constant smoking. I tried a second coat, and it looked a little chalky, with not a lot of improvement in color. The shine faded a lot by the second day. To be quite frank, for a sheer polish, I like the Sally Hansen blush line of nail polish better, it gives better color, lasts a long time, and is really high-shine. The Sally Hansen blush polish seems to be gone from the drug store shelves, but can still be found on Amazon.

I ordered Arabesque because it looked like a shimmery pink. But when I received it, it is actually a pink glitter polish. Might be great for someone going out to a party, but not really workable for everyday wear. It will probably go to a friends teen.

Nars Arabesque is so pretty - it's a sheer coppery pink glitter but it's loaded with glitter, extra, mondo glitter, two coats and it almost looks like a colored polish.It wears ok, I prefer OPI and Essie for wear and pricing but this is perfect for a glammed up hot summer.

The color is not as depicted. The picture shows a rich Royal purple colour. When I got the nail polish I was disappointed, although I like the rich deep red, the colour of garnets, with a purple undertone. I kept it, because I like the colour, but the name of the shade is a misnomer and the colour is, in reality, deep red, with purple undertones.
