best budget gaming mouse
impressive mouse for the price and has enough buttons for someone like myself who swapped from gaming with an office mouse to a gaming mouse. love how you can change the dpi mid game and how smooth it is to press the buttons, never had an issue till now and its been like a month or so. the texture is cool too, better than the gloss in my opinion, and is perfect for my tiny hands. as a petite girl it's really no exaggeration how tiny my hands are so i'm glad this mouse meets all my requirements and criteria. good soup.

Instantly made me better
For the past 2 years I have been a pc gamer, first starting off with a bad off brand mouse and then moving onto the steel series 310 ergonomic. The switch made me instantly better but after looking at reviews for the model o I made my switch after owning the 310 for about 1 and a half years. I thought that it would make my accuracy a tiny bit better but I was wrong, I instantly was more accurate and what really helped was the fact that I could lower my sense while still getting fast movements because owning a heavy mouse with high sense means you can go to a light mouse with lower sense and still feel like you are on high sense but be more accurate.

Mouse

Good Size
Decided to buy this as a replacement for my razer viper mini. -Decided not to get the regular sized model o as I feared that since my hand was very comfortable gripping the viper mini, I dont think my it would be comfortable with the regular model o and im glad i got the smaller one as its a perfect size for me. - Although the viper mini is a little bit taller, I dont really mind that the model o- is shorter as I can still grip the mouse well. - Had no problems installing the glorious software and the rgb is nice but I dont care much about it - Double clicking on it works perfectly normal (goes to max 4ms on the debounce time) - The side buttons do feel a little bit worse than the viper mini but their decent - Built quality is alright - I dont agree with the price (60 Euros as of making this review) and its better off being cheaper

J'y aurais jamais cru !

Perfect fit for smaller hands. Right hands only, though.
I don't have particularly large hands, and I hate playing with a wrist rest for the mouse. Most of my computer work I get done with a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse. It's only 3.4 cm in height, and its 9 cm of length are very short compared to "regular" mice, which makes it super easy on my hands. Unfortunately, it's also fairly slow and sluggish compared to gaming mice. While it's fit for everyday PC work, it's definitely not the right choice for when you need speed, super-fast response and dead-on accuracy. Common gaming mice are above 3.8 cm in height and relatively long, above 12 cm. The Razer Viper is one of the smallest, but still too large for me, and even the Razer Viper Mini is actually higher than the regular Viper. (!) Those 4-5 mm difference in height and length compared to the Logi Anywhere don't sound like a lot on paper, but to my (apparently weirdly tiny) hands it's a difference like night and day. Due to the larger size, with a regular gaming mouse I not only have to curve my hand and fingers more, I also have to place my hand closer to the front to get my fingertips into the (for me) most comfortable clicking position. As a result, this means my wrist has to be in the air all the time. Some people may be able to play like that, but I need my wrist on the table. So either I use a wrist rest (which is restricting and uncomfortable to me) or I risk not being able to move my fingers for a day or two after a gaming session of just 30-60 minutes because every sinew in my hand gets inflamed. In addition to their regular mice, which are relatively low in height to start with, the folks at Glorious also offer alternative versions with slightly more compact dimensions, marked by the minus/dash after the model name. So the Model O- is the slightly smaller version of the Model O, and the Model D- is the slightly smaller version of the Model D. I went for the Model O- and it's a dream come true. I just measured it, 11.5 cm length and about 3.2 cm height, so a little longer than the Anywhere MX, but also a few millimeters lower, and generally significantly smaller than most other gaming mice. This thing sits in my hand like it was made for me. Like a rock that spent a few centuries in a river. Somewhat unfortunately, I can play with this mouse all day long, and all night long, and all following day long, until sleep deprivation hits me over the head like a baseball bat. Perfect! :) It has a superb sensor with switchable precision (I keep mine set to a constant 1600 DPI) and it has "fair" input latency. Where the Razer Viper series have a latency of around 1.5 ms, probably due to their high sensor rate, the Glorious Model O- was measured at around 3.8 ms. I believe this measurement was taken before the Glorious driver allowed adjusting the sensor rate (or debounce time?), so with the sensor rate maximized (or was it debounce time minimized?) the Model O- should be pretty close to the Razers. The debounce time is a little delay that is used to "buffer" and analyze input signals, in order to detect and avoid false button presses or double-click triggering. Unfortunately, it's not possible to lower the debounce time past a certain lower end limit, which feels like an artificial restriction. If Glorious lowered that minimum debounce time, I'm certain the response latency of this fine mouse could be improved even more. I was somewhat concerned about all the holes in the body of the mouse, mostly that I would feel them all the time and experience them as a distraction, but that is not the case. Sits in my hand nicely like any un-holey mouse, I only notice the holes when I focus my attention on them. The cable is not removable, meaning not swappable/replaceable. If the cable dies, the mouse has had it. The cable itself is wrapped in a nice and soft fabric, apparently and unfortunately it tends to "fluff" easily when it slides over jaggy edges. Something to keep in mind. EDIT: I just found out that the cable is indeed swappable, Glorious actually offer a kit called "Ascended Cord". The cord can be ordered in various colours, bundled with "skates" (the slippery pads on the bottom), and they even provide a video that shows how to swap the cable. Very nice that they thought of that, please disregard any reference to the non-swappable cable. It is swappable, although only with proprietary Glorious replacements. Very unfortunately, the Glorious mice are not symmetrical but "ergonomical", which means they're only made for right-handed people. I'm right-handed so I don't care, but I have several left-handed friends who won't ever be using Glorious mice however often I tell them with hearts in my eyes how much I love mine. Simply because they can't use them. Maybe something to improve in the future. On a positive note, the small size of the Glorious "minus" models is not only convenient for my personal preference, but it's also a step towards making gaming mice more comfortable for girls and women. Many girls and women don't have the large bear paws men tend to have, so if I as a guy already have this much trouble finding a gaming mouse that won't kill my sinews, I can just about imagine how hoplessly excluded girls and women may feel. So if you're a girl or woman, or a guy with not particularly large hands like myself, right-handed that is, then this is definitely one of the top contenders for you. Do not compromise and buy another larger and possibly more expensive mouse before you've given the Glorious "minus" models a try. Currently considering getting a second Model O- just in case the one I'm currently using breaks, I love it that much. But then, who knows if the good ol' USB-A plug on a mouse with a non-swappable cable will still fit into anything in a few years time.
