Food storage is a thorn in my side. Even the best containers get ruined with residue after a few weeks of heavy use. Lids don't fit after a few runs in the dishwasher. We always seem to end up with a cabinet full of lids and containers but no matches. The containers take up too much of our limited cabinet space, but we need a good way to store leftovers. Food isn't cheap! My favorite containers are the ones we get from occasional take out purchases. They hold up well in the dishwasher and the lids are all interchangable. They stack up well and don't waste a lot of space. I didn't know I could get them for home use. I came to Amazon to search for some better solution. A vacume sealer? Maybe lids and containers that are attached? When I saw these restaurant style containers, and their reasonable price I decided to try. I hoped they'd be the same as the ones I'm used to and they are. They arrived appropriately packaged, the next day (Newspring, delivered by Amazon). I must live near a distribution center because I had them in less than 24 hours without special shipping. The 32oz size is the same as the ones I get when I order a large sized soup from our local Chinese place or 2lbs of potato salad at the supermarket. They are plain and practical. I'm going back for more sizes.

Hi. I just got my containers. I like to cook and I often do it in large quantities (soup, spaghetti sauce, etc). I checked carefully about the dangers of unhealthy chemicals in various types of plastics and concluded that the only safe plastic containers were medium or high density polyethelene, which is what these are made of. The containers have just arrived and they seem perfect. They stack very efficiently and the tops seal nicely. I'm sure that I'll get much use out of them. They're also cheap and arrived in reasonable time.

Because of the tightness and security of the lid and it does work it is hard to remove I'm an older woman and have arthritis I do manage to get it off it just takes a little longer other than that I really like the product I did have 7 containers that had broken parts on the rim but they still feel I did not send back because we use some and there's no problem just the fact they were there were chips out of the rim

These containers are perfect for leftovers and take-outs. The same lid fits the several other sizes which makes it easy to store. They are dishwasher safe and work even well in the micro-wave, although I wouldn't over-do the microwave thing too much. Cheap enough, too, to put food to give to guests, etc.

I use these for a variety of things including home made ice cream and leftovers. Hold up well in the freezer and fridge but the lip around the lid tends to break in places if your not careful taking the lid off. Also the lids are relatively difficult to get off as the get jammed on the opposite side your trying to take off.

I bought these to put leftover soup in, but they also work really well if you make homemade ice cream. They're the perfect size for the amount of ice cream most ice cream makers yield. They're also dishwasher safe, but they will crack if they are handled incorrectly but the good thing is that these are so cheap it doesn't bother me if I have to throw one away after it is no longer usable or severely stained. I have used these to freeze homemade marinara sauce, and if you rub the inside with oil first they don't get stained.

8 out of the 24 containers I ordered were broken into jagged pieces.....very disappointing. I was using these for a craft at church and did not discover the broken ones until I removed the containers from the packaging. Although the packaging was clear, the containers were stacked so I could not see the broken places from the outside. Very disappointing and very poor quality control. The containers were sturdy but the lids were somewhat difficult to take on and off. If one were only going to use them one time, they would be fine except for all the broken ones which were unusable.

I've ordered quart containers online before with no problem but this order was just horrendous. The containers came in a box, with a shredded plastic bag, some of the containers were dirty and it was just a mess. They're supposed to deliver these in their own plastic bag (24 in a bag) and they're supposed to come ready to use. Very disappointing. I use quart containers for events often and will not be using these guys again.
