Died the First Day - See Review
DATE ORDERED: 02/06/24DATE RECEIVED: 02/14/24DATE OF REVIEW: 03/10/24PERSONAL BUY/PRODUCT TO REVIEW: Personal BuyDELIVERY: UPS - Well packaged with additional itemsQUALITY: Well, it 'looked' pretty good. But it died on the first day.INTENDED PURPOSE: The plan was to use this device to control 2 small heater strips. Total load 15 Amps (7.5 amps each) on a 120V circuit. Total wattage of 1800W (900 watts each) on a 4000W advertised product. It should have been able to handle this load with no problem based on the ratings advertised.RECOMMENDATION: On the first test, the switched worked. On the second test, it did not. This was a purely resistive load. Not an induction load. I started with the switch in the low position and slowly ratcheted upward to full. Like I said, it worked the first time. I thought I would be pleased. The second time, it locked into the high setting only. I should have expected this. Junk from China. I'd ask for a refund or replacement but that would be like pulling teeth with with a fork. Lesson learned. I rate this product as a DO NOT BUY!

Great buy, pay attention to labeling on every one.
Bought and rebought this item. First one worked great. The second one looked exactly like the first but for a different color of peel off protective plastic wrap. But,,, the inputs and outputs were reversed! I didn't catch that and burned out a motor. I won't make that mistake again.

Pffft!
I've been working with scrs and triacs since the 1970s. I know how to use them. I wired this up carefully, paying attention to the warning that the inputs and outputs could be reversed from left to right. I connected it to a motor with a maximum load of 1,400 Watts. However it's never been my intention to run it at full power. At reaching the minimum control activation, the fuse blew like a Fourth of July fountain. I also have some variac type variable transformers rating at less than a thousand watts that do a perfect job of controlling this motor and do not overheat. I'm going back to using them. Old technology is sometimes the best. The refund did not require a return so I opened it up. First off, the fuse did not protect the Triac. It's toast. Second, the circuit seems unnecessarily complex for a basic motor controller. Regardless, it was beyond repair, and not valued enough by the vendor to require a return.

Quit on second use
Quit working on the second use. This is garbage, and a waste of money.

Does not work very well as a motor controller
Constantly blows fuses

Bullet proof, you cant harm it by putting inputs backwards!
Its range was adequate, fuse protected is bonus.I did miswire it, no damage to this device. Solid & tuff
