Update 3 Jan 2012I'm back to order more of these. We've used all 9 bags and have been very happy with them. I've really come to appreciate the seal over the intake hole - it's a nice little extra. No complaints with these bags at all.---------------original review---------------For some reason I've found it hard to find vacuum cleaner bags for my Kenmore vacuum, without going into Sears that is. The ones Sears sells are much more expensive too. They are cloth HEPA bags which adds to the cost, but that's more filtration than we need. With 3 kids and 4 cats, a HEPA bag isn't going to do much for the air quality in our house.These bags are good mid-level bags. They're not as high-end as HEPA cloth bags like  these bags  which go for over $1 per bag, but I figure they're a step above  these , at just over 60¢ a bag. From lowest to highest filtration level, the scale seems to go from micro-filtration to allergen filtration to HEPA.The bags fit our Kenmore vacuum cleaner fine and they perform well. The dirt sensor light behaves as it always did and the "performance indicator" light is off, which is a good thing. A nice feature in the tape closure built into every bag. More than once I've put a full bag in the trash, pushed down to compress the trash, and been rewarded with a plume of dust in my face from the bag's intake hole. The tape closure prevents that.I've got no complaints about this bag - the vacuum cleaner seems to do just as well with the pet hair around the house.

We bought these bags(#20-5068) for our old Kenmore vac and they fit perfectly. We're glad that since Kenmore discontinued manufacture of these bags years ago, Crucial continued making them. We definitely would purchase more of these bags in the future.

For the price, I figured that these bags were worth a try. I've vacuumed with them a few times now. After each time, I opened up the front panel of the vacuum to check on the condition of the bags. Dust leaks out of the bag all over the interior of the vacuum. Because of how tightly the front panel locks, no dust (that I can detect) escapes. I've had my Kenmore vacuum for five years, have only used the Kenmore vacuum bags up until now, and have never had a problem with any kind of dust leaking out of the bags. I originally bought this Kenmore vacuum and the Kenmore bags because they're so great for people with allergies. These bags just don't do the trick. For the price, they work well. Anyone with bad allergies can either spend the extra money on more allergy medicine or on the Kenmore bags.

These bags fit fine. Nice to have the vacuum cleaner back in action. It's a Kenmore Progressive 400, upright. Definitely not a canister. Some trouble being sure that these are the correct bags, but they are. Thanks.I smelled the beater-brush belt burning. I had the vacuum set too "low." Raised the vacuum a little, and now I hear the beater brush beating. But the belt is probably glazed, reduced friction, and the beater brush is probably not spinning as aggressively as it should. Time to go parts-shopping, again, and get a new belt. Then the vacuum cleaner will surely be a monster.

Fits perfectly well even though mine is a pretty old vacuum cleaner I recycled- fixed and patched up- for using in my garage and workshop.

They fit my Kenmore upright perfectly (bag Cdn # 20-50680, US # 50688) and I haven't noticed any leakages are other problems yet. Delivery was quick and it's hard to beat the price.In case you need it, here are the specs of a new folded bag:Length: 16"Width: 6.5"Hole diameter: 1.75"
