I absolutely loved this. Rose and Nic were fabulous characters, their storyline was well done and they totally clicked as a couple from the beginning. Probably my favorite of the series so far!

The rest of her life hasn't fallen into place yet, but it will. Her business has taken up most of her time, if not all. Rose's biological clock is ticking so loud, it often keeps her up at night. With the help of her best friend Brad, Rose has decided to do something about it. They begin to research alternative ways of getting pregnant. Feeling like she's ready to proceed with her plan, Rose decides to dress up and go out. Soon, if everything goes according to plan, she will be too busy with a baby to have a fun night out. Rose heads to the one spot guaranteed to have hot, available men and that's where she meets Nic. Nic is the VP of Sales for ADRENALIN sports, and he's gorgeous. They begin talking and the attraction is instant. That attraction quickly turns into hot, sweaty sex and, too soon, back to their separate lives.Months later, Nic has been having trouble keeping his mind on work; it's been months since he met Rose, but she's all he thinks about. He wishes he could have had more time with her. When they finally meet up again, Nic's excitement turns into confusion. Rose is not happy he's back in town and from the looks of her growing belly, she's had no trouble moving on and forgetting him. Too bad it hasn't been that easy for Nic. Nic decides he wants Rose in his life, baby and all, especially when he learns the truth about her pregnancy. While the time they spend together is great, it's the time apart that has them doubting if they will work. Rose has a home and business that keeps her tethered to Great Falls. Nic has a very demanding job. He is VP of Sales which has him constantly traveling for work. They soon realize that distance and time spent apart is not a good way to start their happily ever after.First of all, the holidays have been way too busy for me, but when I saw that this book was ROSE'S BOOK...MCKAYLA AND BRAD'S ROSE ! OH MY GOD ! I stopped everything and started reading.I WAS HOOKED FROM THE START ! INTOXICATING ATTRACTION WITH INTENSE, SMOKING HOT SEX ! ! ! AWESOME READ WITH WELL WRITTEN, COMPLEX CHARACTERS ! A DEFINITE ONE-CLICK !

This is book 8. You don't need to read this series in order in order to enjoy it. If you want to know a few more characters then read book 7 first since a few characters over lap. The whole series is great. You can connect to the characters and events.Overview. Rose owns a little boutique in Great Falls a small resort town in Illinois near Chicago. She has worked hard to be her own boss. Things are finally turning around for her business but not her personal life. Her friend Brad (meet in book 6&7) help her to achieve her dreams of a family, house, and a guy. But she doesn't want to date. So she decided on insemination. She goes to a bar to celibate changing her life and meets Nicolas aka Nic. Nic travels a lot for his outdoors life style company. In town to sale gear to Gavin Adams (book 1) whom owns the resort. But when he sees Rose at the bar he has to meet her. The two have a strong chemistry and decide to hook up. 2 months later Rose goes for her check up for her insemination and finds out she is already pregnant. Now she doesn't know what to do or how to find Nic. 5 months of traveling and Nic comes back for business and wants to see Rose again only to find her Pregnant. He is in shock when he finds out its his. Life changes fast for both of them. But how could the be a family when Nic travels a lot and her business is doing good in town?

Rose was an "all work, no play" kind of woman so when she wanted to have a baby before it was too late, she decided to use a sperm donor. To celebrate her decision she went to a bar where she met Nic. Their chemistry was incredible. Even though neither of them was big on one-night-stands they didn't want to pass up the chance to be with someone so perfect. Unfortunately, Nic's job kept him moving from town to town so it wasn't possible for them to have more.I loved that these two couldn't stop thinking about each other. Nic thought Rose was wonderful and wanted to get back to her. But Rose's feelings were a different story. While Rose wanted to see Nic again at first, she didn't think much of him after he didn't return her call when she wanted to tell him she was pregnant. Nic couldn't win. He finally got back in town to find Rose really angry at him. Why?I loved this story! The characters were terrific and I especially liked the secondary characters, Auntie Brad and Devon. So if I liked it so much, why did I only give it 3 stars? I had 2 issues with this book. I didn't think the explicit sex was necessary. A story can be steamy without making you feel like you're in bed with them. Also, on Goodreads, the man on the cover is a tough-looking guy covered in tattoos. Nothing like the man described in the book. The man on the audiobook cover is much better.

I think it was better than Mr. Fixit, but not as good as Motorhead. I agree with other reviewers that this was too easy. Not that I would want a whole bunch of drama, but he practically quit his job for her. He gave away all his big buck commissions. That made me not like Rose as much, because she came off as selfish. A little compromise here? I think the chemistry was good. I just couldn't get over her supposedly not wanting to change him, but that's exactly what she did with her pushiness.I'm glad we got to experience Brad again. He is one of my favorite characters of this series. Who wouldn't love such a good friend like him. What a colorful character.Also, were Nic's parents at the wedding? It mentioned them having their RV parked at the house, but when the guests were listed, I didn't see them. Was it referring to them coming to the wedding or to see the baby?

I fancied an accidental pregnancy romance and thought I would give this a go. It’s a new to me author, but even though it’s book 8 in a series it’s easily read as a stand alone.Both Rose and Nicolas have achieved great things career wise, but they feel their personal lives are lacking. Rose decides to use a sperm donor program to have a baby, but just before she starts, she meets super stud, Nic. Their one night of hot, hot passion results in an unexpected pregnancy, but Nic is a man who lives on the road.If I’m honest, both Rose and Nic were a little on the dull side for my taste. While it’s sometimes nice to read a story where the characters have no trauma or messiness in their lives, I think I’ve developed a fondness for angst ridden individuals with deep emotional wounds. I suppose that’s what led to the lack in tension for me. The characters were so reasonable, and got on well from the start, it felt like there was no conflict that could ramp up the feels. The only thing that qualified as conflict was Nic’s issues with his career as he tried to work how how to continue with his job, versus being there for Rose and their baby.This is steady read with low to zero angst, and no heavy drama. The pace was a bit slow in places and I skipped little bits because I didn’t feel they moved the plot along. However, what it lacks in tension it makes up for with heat. There’s some deliciously steamy, hot sex scenes throughout which kept me reading.

Rose owned a fashion shop but felt she needed more dreaming of a family picket fence and a baby. But her life was not letting her dream come true she felt a great need to go as a single mother and get her baby by dperm donor. She goes to the bar alone to celebrate her plans but little did she know her life would change in a different way. She meets Nic a sales man at the bar they end up having a one night stand . After talking to her doctor she made an appointment for a check up , he pull blood work and said he'd be in touch if anything else was needed. she met her friends for lunch her phone rang it was her doctor telling her she needed to make an appointment as her blood test had shown she's already pregnant. She was first in shock her friends supported her making her feel better but told her it wasn't right not to tell the father she went ahead with her first antinatal apt then made a decision to try to find Nic it took her over an hour to ring him only to be told he was out of town she left a message and telephone number so he could contact her but he never did . Then out of the blue he turned up after the shock of seeing a very pregnant Rose an argument started between them . This book has it all everyone should read this story. Of how two lives turn full circle with the happy ending of their baby daughter s birth and happy ever after.

Don't be fooled by the title, the steamy attraction and level of romance will blow Your socks off! Baby is a product of a one night stand but it seems love at first sight does happen - albeit with a fair few challenges thrown in for good measure, you'll need to read this excellent novel obviously to get to those! Stunningly good, I found this extremely difficult to put down - if I could give more rating stars I would! ❤😘😏😉👍😍

A feel-good romance between Rose and Nic starts out as a one night stand. Nothing more, no promises made.But Fate and Mother Nature have other ideas, and Rose finds herself pregnant. Nic’s a travelling salesman, so tracking him down is hard. He finally swings into town again a few months later, and gets the shock of his life.The storyline is cute, the way the author relates the baby drama is realistic and the whole story just comes together so well. A really enjoyable read.

The author wrote a really wonderful story and all the characters gelled together to make the story come alive. It you want to read about a man whose life was based on that of a nomadic existence, meets a special woman and his she upturns his life for the better. You won’t regret reading this captivating book.
