Terranova | Body Oil (Aire)

We live in the desert and the humidity gets down to single digits. I have been using Terranova body oil for years, layering it under a light lotion before I get out of the shower. The addition of shea butter is new; and even better than their original formula. I apply the oil all over before I towel off, then put the lotion on after a light pat down with my towel and my skin is soft and dewy all day. I was looking for a body oil for my hubby as he has taken a job in Santa Fe, NM; over 7,000 feet in elevation. That extremely low humidity can make your skin feel and look like alligator hide. I didn't think he would want such a "girly" product; however, the scent is fresh and light and it doesn't 'linger', so it won't interfere with his cologne or make him smell like a girl. In any case, after reading the reviews of other products, he is getting Terranova. This is hands down the most easily absorbed, effective body oil on the market. I have used sweet almond oil, cheaper brands that use a lot of safflower oil, and Rain Shower - none were as effective. Moreover, I refuse to pay the premium for fancy French products that cannot possibly do a better job. Bottom line, this product is amazing and works wonderfully. I really am a Terranova fan for life, (love their perfumes, too).

Light scent, that can be worn alone, or layered with other fragrances to create your own unique scent. Absolutely adore this body oil!

I used this product after showering. It left my skin smooth and silky, looking radiant.

Love the fragrance but thought it was a little strong and was not so happy that the main oil is safflower oil. I mixed 1/3 of the bottle with a cup of sweet almond oil, a couple teaspoons of jojoba oil and a teaspoon of Vitamin E oil. Feels soothing after a warm bath and smells clean without being overpowering. I take a little extra time and massage it into my skin, making this a good addition to a relaxing end of the day. I will probably not repurchase this though, because of the safflower oil. I would rather it be a good olive or almond oil but that is just my own personal preference. If Terranova would change the base oil it would be a great product.

Happy I finally found the rain scent I used to buy at the kiosk at the mall many years ago. I've ordered others but the scent just wasn't the same fresh clean scent.

This oil is very light, and can be layered with other lotions. I wear a shea butter lotion with this, for my super sensitive post chemo and radiation skin.Bonus : the smell is just lovely.
