great sling
very good sling. large enough to support my wrist weakness as well as my arm for proximal humerus fracture. I've had multiple arm issues so used sling over a period of 5 months. the velcro closure did wear out and started slipping open so I had to replace with new sling but was happy to do so. I also found straps to be too long so had a friend shorten them. the strap around the back is good for most activities but when I went for walks I added an additional wrap around body to stabilize arm. Would reccommend sling to anyone but looking forward to tossing my own!

Too bad, the sling is very comfortable
Well, we're about 7 weeks in, and the sling is worthless. The Velcro no longer sticks so I either have to buy and have a friend sew in new Velcro or buy a new sling. Too bad, the sling is very comfortable, but the low-quality Velcro makes it a unusable product. Sorry.

I wish I had started with this!
This was sling number 4 for me after I broke my humeral head in two places. It has a removable waist strap which would have been wonderful that first two weeks when even bending over put too much stress on my shoulder and was very painful. Other features I loved:- mesh fabric - you'd be amazed at how hot a sling can be- longer straps- after awhile my neck could not take the pressure of my arm anymore. It was nice to be able to wrap the strap around my chest to give my neck a break.-Velcro rather than metal fasteners- Ability to tighten the sleeve so that it better fit my arm- sleeve length that went out to my finger tips - my wrist and elbow were not broken but they needed support in the beggining. This part folds in if you don't need it.-interior soft straps to hold your fingers-I machine washed mine in a load of laundry with fabric softener and it came out soft and comfy.

Good and breathable, but the straps are a little scratchy
I'm some ways, it's better then the immobilizing sling the ER sent me home with (dislocated shoulder) in others, not. Unlike the ER supplied sling, this one allows for free movement of your hand and wrist, even when tightly strapped to your chest. This sling breathes better, which is great for long term use, however, the material is scratchier in the sling pocket. The neck and back strap on this one are very basic velcro and aren't soft, so it can scratch or dig if worn without a shirt underneath it. The ER sling straps were somewhat padded, allowing for shirtless wear. I wouldn't use this unless you can move enough to thread a T shirt around the injured arm, which is a learning curve and takes time. If you have to wear a sling directly against your skin(without a shirt on under the sling) for some reason, the straps will dig, if tight enough to properly immobilize. Disclaimer, I'm no medical professional, I'm speaking from owner/user experience in the fact that I'm wearing this very sling for a shoulder injury while writing this review on my phone. Overall, I'd buy this again though, good sling.

Best stabilizing sling
This sling is awesome, I had surgery and had to be in a sling for two months. This sling had perfect wrist support and was not too uncomfortable on my neck. The sling was perfectly comfortable, I spent days looking for a suitable sling after my surgery and this was the only one I could find that was comfortable!

Great Sling for us Goofs!
I messed my shoulder up (again) and the one the hospital gave me was horrendous the strap cut into my neck and was hot (I live in Florida). I got this one because I may need surgery (again) and will probably have use for it in the future I am a goof!It is very adjustable with lots of straps! It has a really nice neck cushion (could be a bit bigger) so that the weight isn't cutting into your neck. I really didn't need the immobilization part but it does come with a strap for that and seems like it would do the job really well. It does have an inner loop apparently for your fingers most have it for your thumb but this one is big as you can almost fit your hand into it. I do wish that was adjustable but it is not. It also breathes very well even though it is black (but black can be good as it doesn't stand out as much). I'm 5'8" and it fits me quite well with plenty of adjustability left!

No Support for your arm with this.
Very flimsy. No support. Adjustable straps don't stay in place. Would not recommend this.

After just over 1 month of use, Velcro strap randomly opens up, causing arm to painfully drop
Right from the start there were some things I liked about this sling, such as how airy and ventilated it is, and how soft the material is, even after wearing longer in hot weather. After using it for a while though, the downsides started to show:* The "thumb loop" are two straps on the inside of the sling sleeve. They are ok to use, but if you don't need them, the just keep rubbing and irritating both sides of your palm. The way they are sown in, it can't really be even cut off.* The solder strap is down on vertically in the back, goes over the neck, and loops back with Velcro. The worst part is that after just one month use, the Velcro started randomly failing, causing the injured arm to violently and painfully drop. The strap itself is very thin, with a very small and thin padding, which is insufficient for preventing the strap cutting into the side of your neck.* The cross strap has a velcroed loop on both ends, so it can be removed if not needed, however, the front D buckle is too low and angled weirdly, so I ended up looping it around the shoulder strap instead. Not the best solution.
