Good product
When your shoes start to fall apart, this product can help get a little more life out of them.

Very effective for a deep/thick application if surface is prepped properly
I've done patching with Shoe Goo in the past with mixed results. However, with this tube, I completely redid base of some old Crocs...not expecting it to hold up and simply peel away. 3 months since fix and not one area peeling. I think where most people get failures with this product is by not roughing the surface or cleaning it properly. Yes, you have to do it outside because it smells toxic. My "thick" application was fully cured overnight at 64 degrees F.

There's a Reason It's a Classic
This stuff has served humankind well ever since I was a kid (and maybe before). A godsend if you need to repair or refill the soles of your shoes. I've used this to keep shoes in decent nick for years after their soles had worn through. And the price, praise God, is still right. One thing: when I was a kid this guy in Thrasher Magazine swore that if you use an ice cube to apply the goo, it goes on much more smoothly. I can't personally attest to this, but I figured I'd put it out there and if it's true maybe it will benefit someone. Anyway. Great stuff.

Reasonably good, but will need multiple applications
I exercise several miles on my treadmill most days, which is great for my body but definitely wears on my Sketchers. Since they inevitably end up with holes after a few months, I decided to try this on one shoe that currently had a sizable hole before throwing them out for a spare pair. It’s been about a week since I first applied, and while I was initially pleased with the results, it’s beginning to wear and small holes are emerging. I didn’t use much of the mix the first time, so even if I have to reapply every week, it’s still cheaper than a new pair. So…expect this as a fix, and a good one, but you will have to keep using it again. Less expensive than replacing your shoes, but it’s hardly something you use once and never again. I will purchase more as needed.

Excellent bond for Muck boots
My favorite discontinued Muck boots. The soles came undone. I cleaned both surfaces with a wire brush and applied plenty to both sides. Then squished them on and secured them with tape and string overnight while it cured. The next day I realized I left a large wrinkle in the rubber boot which is impossible to fix due to the excellent bonding of the shoe goo. Ruined my boots and am so upset. The product did a great job. Me not so much.

Useful but messy
This stuff is highly useful -- no more expensive resoling -- however it is a little messy to work with. Also has to go on in thinner coats which take 1 day to dry each.

Seems to hold well.
Works to hold sole onto leather boots. Used clear first but the black looks better. Both hold well.

Still Happy
I have been using Shoegoo for years. Can't say much more.

Price is too high but it does a premium quality work. I applied into my sandle whose sole came out of it. It maintained the flexibility of sandle. One thing you have to note that you have to put some weight or tie or make some arrangements so that after applying glue the applied surface should not get disturbed.

Was useless to me .. the pate is black and thick as tar .. can’t use in white sole shoes .. the paste doesn’t stick well and is too thick causing a layer ..better use a professional
