Purchased cable for the custom bike shown. It was size appropriate. Just what I needed to make for better stopping capability. Would purchase again.

I got this kit to add a front caliper brake to my son's used BMX bike. It was dead simple to install and adjust, and my son likes the look of the brake on his bike. The kit seems to be the same design and quality of brakes you would get in a bike shop or pre-assembled bike when I was a kid in the 80s, so there's some nostalgia there for me, anyway. Make no mistake: this caliper brake kit is a basic, functional item that might be best used in learning situations for beginner bicyclists. I plan to upgrade the brake pads from the included black rubber pads to a more modern design soon. I have no complaints about this item.

Brought these for a child's bike and had the repair shop put them on. So far so good.

I bought this to add a front brake to our grandson's Specialized Hotrock 20 bike. This bike stays at our house so it only gets used when he visits. No problem with the installation. I had a little trouble getting the brake arms to work properly, but I watched a Park Tool video on Youtube and then adjusted it easily. This brake and lever are functional, but are really cheaply constructed-- especially the brake lever. Probably a fair value considering the low price ($13). If I did it over, or if it was going on a bike that saw more use, I would pay more and get something better.

Works great and son loves it

This one fits well to add an additional front brake to a city bike. Easy to install.Missing high quality features such as a stable tube to prevent the cable to bend or good quality brake blocks.Brake handle is rather small, no the normal size you would expect.It’s working but you should not expect a phenomenal braking experience. I guess with better brake blocks it may have better functionality.

Simple to install, but takes too long to stop bike. Pads do not seem to grip tight enough.

This BMX Front wheel brake set looks exactly like the old school dia comps that I had as a child on my earlier BMX bikes in the 80's, I am a BMX bike builder/collector and if your looking to give your BMX build an old school feel without having to pay the high price of a rare and OG part from the 70',80's, or 90's then this item and price point is for you.Product is working properly as it should and shipping was amazing, would most def buy from this seller again (Highly recommended)
