China GlazeNail Polish, Highlight of My Summer 1221

This is the perfect neon mint shade I was looking for. It's my new fave color. The color appears a bit duller in the bottle than it does on actual nails. I was worried this would be too pale a shade for my toes, because light colors usually don't look good on my feet, but it's perfect. Nice and vibrant. I have medium-light skin, and I think this polish would complement any skin tone. It does go on pretty streaky, as does all China Glaze, but I've found that application is everything with this brand. 2 coats is enough to completely coat the nail so that no streakiness shows through; I also use a base and a top coat. This polish is long lasting. It does chip on my fingernails, but all polish does that to me. My manicures never ever last. They always chip fast. On toes, this stuff lasts a full 2 weeks without chipping.

Let me first say that I love this color. Over white it shades a bit towards the neon, on its own it is the closest to Paris Green that I've been able to find in this color.But like most pastels and neons it is on the thin side and takes two or three coats to eliminate the streaks. You also will need a good topcoat, reapplied every other day, to prevent chipping.

Highlight of My Summer is an extremely bright yet light lime green. It is not neon like the previous neon collections, but still very noticeable. It is flat with no sparkles and has an eggshell finish (not shiny, but not fully matte). However great the color may be, the formula is terrible. I own around 30 China Glaze nail lacquers and this is, by far, the thinnest and streakiest. It's difficult to work with and unless 4 coats are used, it will not come out even. Using a coat or two of thick, white base helped a bit. It chipped much faster than an other China Glaze I own. Pass on it if you have a similar color or are not a fan of green.

Every time I wear this polish I get a ton of compliments. It is one of the only bottles of nail polish I will probably run out of, which is saying a lot as I have a ton of nail polish.I really like the China Glaze brand and to date it is my favorite polish to purchase and wear as it has brilliant colors and is long lasting. It rarely chips and goes on smoothly with a quick drying time.

It doesn't look as Minty in person. I was a little disappointed with it, however I still really love this color. I don't know why, but this particular color seems to chip easily and I have quite a few of china glaze polishes that don't chip for a while. Not sure why that is? Still very pretty

I love this color. It's a perfect bright, but pastel, line green. It looks so good on. Only downfall: the application sucks. It's very streaky. But, I learned a trick from YouTube. You do one coat of color and on top of that one coat of clear matte polish and then a final coat of color. Definitely makes it nearly (90-95%) streak free.

The formula is tricky; it takes three coats on its own or one coat over white. But the color is so beautiful. It's worth the streakiness to have such a bright, fun color on your nails.

OMG I love this color! I could wear this all summer! I'm so glad these shades in this collection pair so well with one another! It's hard to choose just one! So i usually pick four and go with n ombré with nail art on top! This collection is so diverse. N did I mention, beautiful!

Die Lieferung dauerte zwar etwas, aber das Produkt war super verpackt und kam auch unbeschädigt an.Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Nagellack, er ist einfach super.Die Haltbarkeit auf dem Nagel ist auch sehr gut.Er ist sehr gut aufzutragen, dauert etwas bis er komplett trocken ist, aber die Wartezeit ist es wert.Das Farbergebnis ist einfach traumhaft.Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Die Farbe ist richtig auffällig. Mir gefällt der Nagellack sehr gut und ich trage ihn meistens im Sommer. Der Pinsel ist sehr schmal aber der Lack lässt sich einfach auftragen. Mit Unter - und Überlack hält er mehrere Tage.

This is a lovely summer colour it`s true to the picture a lovely light lime green , although needs a couple of coats as a bit watery when first applied but 2 good coats and this is lovely.
