What you need for tweeking your gear correctly.
The toolkit arrived quickly and safely in a bubble wrap envelope as was appropriate for the item. They were purchased to update the alignment wands that I use for radio alignment. They have smaller tips and a wider selection of shapes than the older set that I currently use for boatanchor and hybrid radios. They fit the newer solid state gear RF and IF “slugs” and tiny adjustment potentiometers that didn’t exist in the 1960’s. If you need them, you will know it. They are appropriately sturdy, but the skinniest wands should fail before they allow you to damage an “unobtanium” IF can or RF tuning slug. They are slightly pricey, but are well worth the cost.

Solid quality, lots of tools.
Really useful, especially for the price. If you aligns old radios like the Kenwood TS series, this set is a must. One slip with a metal tool and you might toast several square inches of circuit board. But not with these. They're strong enough to turn stubborn slotted tank coils also. Plus, and this is a big plus, they won't de-tune the circuit or change the inductance of a coil like a metal tool will. Lots of good pieces here.W3AFC

Great kit!!
Great kit for aligning pots and other things in electronics. They are really well made and will last a long time if you take care of them. They're not pry bars!!It comes in a storage pouch, also well made but kinda useless.Take them out and put the in a cup on your bench. Or bundle them together with a rubber band. The pouch takes up a lot of space.

Ham Radio Alignment
After expending weeks searching for alignment tools in that cesspool sea of crappy tools from China, I found these tools. I have two Kenwood TS-440 ham band transcievers that needed repair and alignment. One was purportedly a working radio (2nd hand, via e-pray, I like them though, I buy a lot of used gadgets over there), but somebody had swapped out all the good boards to fix other radios. After expending a week fixing that radio it needed alignment. The other radio came from a SK estate, the SK had been working on it when his key went silent. It did not have a front bezel, VFO encoder, no case covers and no knobs. I bought it as parts radio for the first radio, but it was actually in better shape that one, so I restored and now it needed alignment. These alignment tools fit all of the tuning slugs, transformers and potentiometers perfectly. And they are well made as well.I recommend these tools for the serious radio electronics weenie.

Too Flimsy
Ordered these so I could tune a tape player speed. The problem I had, these are too flimsy and easy to damage. Save your money and find a sturdier set.
