GIVIE340NA 34 liter Monlock Top Case - Black

Love the look of it, nice construction. I wanted a Givi Monokey case like the one on my husband's Burgman, but I couldn't afford it. I found these while searching for that and I was skeptical about this product because it is made by the same company but not as costly. I figured it would be a cheap imitation, but it is nicely made and though it is not just like my husband's Monokey case, it is still well made, and a very reasonable price. The installation kit was very easy to use, we had it mounted in just a few minutes. I put it on my 2002 Honda Reflex. My Reflex has a spoiler with pre-made reinforced places to drill out for mounting a case and I was afraid it would not match up, but the way the mounting plate is made, it fit perfectly! The mounting plate is made to be very user friendly bolts can be placed almost anywhere on it. I love how easy it was to install and I love how much it holds! Like the Monokey, the Monolock is removable from the bike so when you are staying for a while, you just pop it off the bracket and take it with you like a piece of luggage!

This box is the cheaper line of Givi, but it is really just fine. It took a little work to adapt the universal adapter to my flat rear carrier but it's solid and it looks good now.

I mounted this on a Triumph Tiger. This top case is the perfect size. It actually fits a helmet inside. Well made and the mounting was all of 15 minutes. Pops off in a few seconds and carries like small luggage. I wanted something to carry extra gear that wasn't obtrusively large. I've read other reviews complaining about the locking/unlocking system. I don't see the problem. Givi also supplies two keys. Great buy. I would buy another one.

Great case. I like it a lot. I wanted a very light case with large volume. Motorcycle racks are funny, they allow you to attach massive cases, but the weight ratings are always low. So you can easily get a case which exceeds the rating of the mount, and technically not be able to put anything inside. I didn't need huge volume, so the lightest case I could get with sufficient volume was this one.Likes:- Easy to pop on and off the mount- Lid stays open- one of the lightest in the series- Lock mechanism feels qualityDislikes- The "reflector" isn't a true reflector. It just has a piece of shiny metal inside. I can't imagine it would cost that much to put some basic reflector there.- since this case is single-walled as opposed to the double walled larger cases, it's a little more flexible. If you over-stuff it even a little, the lid still closes easily, but it won't make a good seal with the gasket and your waterproofing will be compromised. It's easy to compromise the seal with soft items like a sleeping bag if it press in the right place.

I bought this for a Honda pcx. I had to modify the way I mounted it, but I knew that before buying. I use it daily and I am very happy with it. There is a lot of room in this. I usually put a back pack, extra gloves and a jacket in it. There is plenty of room for my helmet and other stuff when I use it for that.I would definitely buy this again if needed.

Bought this for my son's CBR300 commuter bike for university. Practical, dry, stands up well in the sun and rain so it still looks like new. Perfect size for his school backpack, books etc.
