Can this be added to cold beverages without heating prior?

Personally, I do not subject to any sort of heat my raw matcha green tea. I blend it in a blender when I'm in a rush with sugar-free coconut milk, or whatever nut milk is available. Most times I whisk it. So yeah, you can definitely add your raw matcha green tea to any cold beverages. I mix mine with plant base protein smoothie. The possibilities are endless!

The package does not say where the tea is grown, but there is a picture of Japan on the package. So one can assume it's grown there, but nothing for sure.
