I ordered The Original Sock Monkey because I thought our two-year-old son might like it. Unfortunately, he is only interested in Thomas the Tank Engine (obsessed, actually), and Sock Monkey never really caught on with him. I felt bad seeing sock monkey left neglected in the corner of our toddler's room. He deserved better. So I started hanging out with him. Taking him out when I ran errands. Taking him to work with me. He rests next to my pillow at night. Sock monkey is a great companion. The toddler doesn't know what he's missing.

We recently lost everything in our house due to a fire and my mom was devastated at the loss of her old sock monkey that she had had since her own childhood. I bought this for her last Christmas and she was delighted. He's just like her original and she loves him very much. High quality sock monkey, attention to details, and a great value.

Back in 2016, I ordered three for the grand babies & they were gorgeous as ever. To me, these dolls are likened to whatever your favorite breed of pet is😂 Just ordered my fourth for the newest addition to the family & received today. I am pleased.The monkey I just received is a replacement for a defective one returned. I submitted a prior review & I know darn well I submitted it, giving it one⭐️; don’t see it in the reviews. The eyes & mouth were lopsided, when I unwrapped it & saw the appearance I was not happy. I always shake them out to fluff up their pom poms & sit them on the sofa. When I received the defective one & sat it on the sofa, I would grimace whenever I looked @ it. It was grotesquely defective. This one’s a keeper😉

I'm sure somewhere in the early days of my life, I'd heard tell of the Sock Monkey. But it wasn't until I'd watched a wonderful, magical movie called "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium," that I saw and became entralled with this endearing toy. So, of course, even as an adult, I wanted what I missed out on for myself, now, because it's never too late to allow your inner child to rejoice and receive gifts that actually keep on giving once you are adopted by one.Mine arrived just shortly after my birthday and I was happily surprised at how huggable he was. Like my younger self would have done, I named him, and he is always right there sharing in my daily moments of play. I sense a kind of ventriloquism he provides, allowing me to hear the things I might have kept inside, giving me freedom to speak from an inner truth.I would recommend to anyone who misses their playful side, to allow this delightful 'friend' into their lives.

Shipping of this monkey was an absolute nightmare!!! Took well over a week, so I am not very pleased about that aspect of this order whatsoever. And it has ruined every little bit of excitement I had waiting for my sock monkey.But the product is well made and looks exactly like the photo and just like the original. Very happy to own my very own Sock Monkey. Thank you!

Exactly what I was looking for but first order came with the eyes not placed in the right location. Returned for replacement. Second monkey came, again, with eyes not placed in the right location. I will return and order from a different vendor.

Im not a kid, but!!!! Did have one when I was one.I saw this beautiful stuffed toy. And brought back memories of quality toys when you had to use your imagination, I couldn't get This adorable monkey off my mind after through Amazon products. He just popped up, as to say ? hi I'm back!Well after a few weeks of thinking should I ? or should I shouldn't I ? My loving fiance , got him for me!!!! what a delightful surprise. Well this special monkey sits up on my dresser. makes me smile from when I wake up. Till i go to bed. Just like he did i was a child.. He's going with me when, it's time for my operation while I stay in hospital. Keep smiling back ! Only buy the original sock monkey. Made in the United States.

I received a different brand Schylling, which does not have button eyes and has many loose threads and crooked stitching. Very unhappy as seller claims it's the same as The Original sock monkey by Ozark pictured here. I'm very unhappy with quality of product I received.
