The Very Best of Lou Rawls: You'll Never Find Another

Love the CD, however it arrived packed without bubble wrap to protect it so the case was cracked on the top, bottom & a broken spine. The CD managed to survive. Recommend bubble wrap for future orders. I would have given it a 5 rating otherwise.

My mom’s only complaint was her favorite song was the final song played on the CD.

I love his voice, but some songs I did not care for.

Lou Rawls is one of those singers that you recognize that second his songs start playing on the radio. This CD has a teriffic set of his hits. My original favorite was You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine, but since has been replaced by a new fave called A Natural Man. I stubled on this while listening to a music channel on cable tv. I immediately looked it up on Amazon, and found it on this CD. Of course, local availability being zero, I ordered it and got it quickly. I played it while out that afternoon and enjoyed it tremendously.

Great music

I heard a Lou Rawls song on the radio recently, and I remembered how much I liked him way-back-when. I had a couple of his cassettes that are now long gone. The recording quality of the CD is good, but not great. Some of the songs I was looking for are here, but many are not. I guess some of my favorites were buried deep in his albums, and are not considered the "very best."

i was a fan of lou rawls when lady love first came out, and for a bit of reminiscing i wanted to find a cd with his best of on it. this seemed the better of 2-3 others as it had lady love, and you'll never find another love on it. there are some other great tracks on this album, and i'm really pleased with my purchase. nice to hear his fantastic soulful vocals again..

Very glad I bought this compilation cd. I only knew Lou Rawls from the later hits he had like 'Lady Love', but there isn't a bad song on here. And did any male singer back in the day have a more beautiful baritone voice? A great find.

Some great songs by a great singer, but the songs are a mixed bag, not as soulful as expected. I am sure there are other compilations that are better.
