Aveda Invati Thickening Conditioner, 6.7 Fl Oz

Had a sample while on vacation and couldn’t believe the results. A little pricy but what isn’t.

Aveda products are always top notch. I recently tried the Invati Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner and was blown away with the conditioner. I use it with any shampoo and my hair feels and looks thicker and is shinier. I have thin, fine hair and am always trying different products. This works!

I was disappointed, at first, with the Invati conditioner and shampoo, because, I think for the price, I expected miracles after two or three applications. But, the money was spent, so, i stuck with it, and now, after a month, I think there's a different texture and sheen to my hair.It's weird, because, the first week, I actually was losing more hair, not less. It was almost a deal-breaker. I'm not losing my hair, but, I've always had very fine hair, and my problem is that it ends up snarling and breaking. I kept it very short for the hassle of detangling and styling, but, let it grow out, and after it was long, it seemed like I had so much breakage and hair going down the drain, that i was depressed.So, after using it three times a week, for a month, i believe my hair is stronger and healthier. It's too soon to see if it's thicker, but, I think it looks better, and I've been getting compliments on how pretty my hair is.It also seems like it grew an inch this month.It is not a great detangler, on it's own. But, after I massage it in, now, I use a wide tooth comb, while it's in, and comb it through, gently. Be careful not to tug at the roots, because, you will lose hair. When I started to carefully detangle with the conditioner, and then rinse, I had less trouble combing out my hair, and that's my biggest problem, my hair tangles and snarls very badly when I wash it.I love Aveda products, and use Confixture lotion-gel for hold, as well as another Aveda product for shine.The only negative is it's expensive. I have to decide whether to order my second tube of it soon, and I think i will give it another go, and after three or four months decide if my money was well spent, or it's all just wishful thinking and good marketing.Like all Aveda products, it leaves your hair smelling amazing.

This product definitely works. I have a great, extremely reasonable, honest hair stylist that I see once a week. I purchased Invati and starting taking it to the hair salon with me. After four weeks of using it, my stylist and I both saw a big difference with the thickening of my hair. My natural hair WAS curly and thick, but I decided to go straight. After two years of having it flat ironed bone straight and becoming two years older, my hair wasn't as thick as it used to be. My stylist told me the Invati product would work, but would make my hair a little dry. I should also mention, my natural hair color is dark brown, but I wear it caramel colored with highlights. I only shampoo my hair once a week unless I swim or my hair really needs it. I did notice by the third day my hair was a little dry and didn't have the sheen I was used to. I had to use a little Argan oil to combat this. Since, my main objective was thicker hair, I decided to use Invati three times a month, and do a DEEP conditioner the other week with Sebastian 2 plus 1 or Ovation. This works for me! Although, there is some dryness from using the product, I highly recommend it for hair thickening.

I use a few Aveda hair products and I decided to try this one. First of all, it is very expensive. Secondly, it stinks really badly after you rinse it out! It left my hair greasy and my dark blonde hair looks darker. The smell is like seaweed with peppermint mixed in. Other people around me can also smell the strong smell. The worst thing is, after I started using it, I was losing a bunch of hair in the shower! Before maybe 3-6 strands. Now I'm losing a lot! I've read that this hair loss is happening to other users also. I like my other Aveda products, but this one is horrible. DO NOT BUY!!!!

I bought this for my 70 year old boyfriend who has long fine gray hair. He started using this after Christmas and his hair has so much body, feels so thick and shiny. It is a game changer.He really likes his hair. Great product

I have tried so many products for my hair. Have always had fine hair abd as I am getting older I am losing hair. This is one of the best conditioners out there. A little goes a long way so the price is a good match for every day use.

Amazing product. I will never use anything else. It really does what it says it will do. It makes my thin hair thicker and softer and easier to get the tangles out. The smell of the product is out of this world. Love the product and can't say enough good about it. Get it. You won't be sorry. I used Paul Mitchell before and will never go back to it. I have used Invati for about a month now.

The product was delivered in a plastic bag and was loosing it`s content. I could not send it back, because a had a very serious car- accident on Dec. 22nd and am still in hospital.
