Great for EDC
This is an awesome EDC fixed blade. It's easy to conceal, the blade length is quite short so if you live in a knife restrictive state like me this is totally legal, and it's comfortable to wear also cause the clip is adjustable. You could carry this anyway you want on your belt, or even carry it clipped to your boot. It's just a great knife. It came super sharp out of the box like all the SOG knives I've ever bought. And it's easy to resharpen. I highly recommend.

Nice EDC knife
Nice little EDC knife. Thin grip but ring helps make it easy to hold. The plastic case has well placed grommets and a clip that swivels allowing for a lot of carry options. You can even switch the clip to the other side for left hand draw.

Lil raptor claw 👍
Smaller IRL. Everything is well made the ring is machine beveled the grips are quite nice for the price point and the sheath slides locks and releases in a pleasing manner. My only con about this product is the clip for the sheath came so loose I nearly lost it the first day of carry but after a quick adjustment with an Allen hey I've not had anymore issues. The edge is a little difficult to sure the edge because the steel is a bit grainy but ultimately came to an adequate edge with a little patience. Good EDC for the price, I usually carry the SOG Trident elite and wanted to leave the more expensive knife at home and sure up defensive capabilities. The gambit is a versatile blade pleasing to the senses, Would recommend.

It has easily become my new EDC
Is it a high end blade, no. But it is very versitile. It has easily become my new EDC. I work in shipping and receiving and have to "customize" boxes all the time. It cuts threw 1/8 inch cardboard like butter and keeps its edge. The best part is the price, if by chance it happens to break it only cost around $20 to replace. The thin profile makes it ideal for belt carry, I hardly know it there. I easily adjusted the clip and have it sitting at a 90 on my back. The sheath holds the blade in securely, no problems with it falling out with jumping on and off a fork truck all day long. This is my 3rd SOG knife, and for the price you can't go wrong....especially if you are hard on your tools and don't want to ruin a $200 peice.

Great Edc/ defensive blade.
Carry this knife daily. This is also my 2nd of this model, I lost the first somewhere. Ive also given a few way as presents. Knife is decent out of the box, but some simple upgrades/ mods make it a killer blade. First sand the grips down so they are more rounded and thinner, 2nd wrap in grip tape, 3rd light polish of the ring to make it more comfortable while in use. I also remove the clip screw and wrap the sheath in grip tape, for better retention and more comfortable against the skin, also loctite the screw when you replace. Quick sharpen and this thing is a beaut!!!

Be very mindful of the sheath issues
Good blade and scales but the sheath is way too unpredictable. A concern with a blade this shape is the accidental slicing of your belt, pants, or body on the draw. So while I like the fit and finish of the knife itself, the sheath is a problem. It appears to have two metal beads that grab or clamp the sides of the lower blade edge near the top of the handle. Holding the blade in your hand, the sheath seems to be tight, but reliable. Wearing the blade is where the problem starts. The lower edge of the clip where it attaches to the sheath likes to grab and gather clothing so that will prevent full clip engagement. I guess that is just the collateral impact of its ability to be spun to your preferred angle. So, once you get it full seated on your belt (and no, it will not work on a packpack strap or just a waistband, the whole sheath will still come out with the blade. If it holds, about half the time you have to change the angle of pull and go so hard its like starting a chainsaw and then it will pop free. That's a no no as you can end up loosing some control over the tip of the knife. That means that soon enough you are going to hurt your pants, shirt, or self. There is a chance I can get in there with some wet/dry 400 grit and reduce the metal but I really should not have to tinker with an out of the box factory sheath. It's too tight a fit to tape the blade and even practice so I am afraid this will join the pile of "almost loved it" knives.
