AMTRA GRAVEL NOA - Natural aquarium gravel, decorative floor, white coarse grains size 4-8 mm, format 2kg

I didnt buy this item for an aquarium but instead to use as a base for drainage in repotting of plants and despite not being intended for this purpose it worked amazing. For anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to the more expensive bags of potting gravel this gets a thumbs up from meA++++ Highly reccomended

I was expecting it to be easy to clean but I had to clean it more than four times in order to get it completely clean without any dust. This gravel is full of dust and there is even sand that was left at the bottom after I finish cleaning it. I would not really recommend this. If you want to still buy it, expect to clean it several times before adding it in your fish tank.

Looks really nice in indoor plant pots and help keep the gnat population to a minimum, which was exaclty what I was after.Stones need washing before use and I love the fact there's a bit of colour variety.When you first wash them, there's quite a lot of different colours including browns and orange which was a bit of a surprise, but once they dry, they are predominantly white/grey.They go quite a long way and is good value for money.

Looks lovely in my barrel water garden, it finishes it off nicely.

Decent price at £4 for x2 kg and just perfect for topping up pots outside.
