I bought this to wear in my home office, which happens to be the coldest room in the house. This poncho is super soft, warm and comfortable. The cowl neck makes it look like I'm wearing something much dressier than a blanket and I get questions about it all the time on video calls. My arms stay free to type and when I sit, the blanket fully covers my lap down to my feet. I'm about 5'6" and it comes down to my ankles standing, making it easy to get up and walk around the house in. So much better than wrapping a blanket around my shoulders like I used to do and keeps me cozy enough that I don't have to use my space heater anymore. Highly recommend!

Shorter than expected. But very comfortable.

Soft and warm. Nice long and soft poncho that I plan on using as a travel blanket, I think it will serve that purpose well. Because there are some conflicting reports as to length, I'll just say that I'm 5'10" and this drapes almost to the floor when I stand up straight. Maybe 3 inches off the ground or so.One issue to note, and this may not be universal, the kangaroo pocket in the front is actually significantly off-center. Not a huge functional issue, but it's definitely noticeable and looks pretty sloppy. I might just break out the ol' seam ripper and yank the pocket off entirely.

Bought this for a white elephant gift game for our family Christmas party, and it was a hit! The kids stole the poncho and took turns playing dark Vader. The dark blue was very pretty.

This is perfect! It’s not too warm and quite comfortable. I bought 3 of them for Xmas gifts, and they love them. They said they haven’t taken them off! Of course I had to buy one for myself to make sure it was giftable! 😊

"Do not machine wash". That should have been the first thing you see when you open the box! Lol!! (Well, I should have read the tag). I never imagined I couldn't just drop it (the "sherpa") in the washer. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE THIS PONCHO BLANKET!! I love it so much (the "sherpa" only) that I did buy 2 for myself and gave it for Christmas presents+. But I threw it in the washer after a spill that I could have just rinsed with a little soap. Somewhere (and I'm sure where) between the washer and dryer, it let loose a mountain of lint that, after 7 rounds in the dryer, it was still stuck all over both sides. I tried shaking it out, no luck. I tried a lint roller. No luck. A rubber glove. Some luck. Finally, after hours, hubby suggested a stiff brush. It worked! After both of us tackling it, between the dryer and the hand brushing, we had a softball-sized ball of lint (I wanted to include pics but the Amazon app. isn't working right now for it). Thankfully it is nornal again, soft, warm, soooo cozy on cold winter days. I can move about in it comfortably, throw back the part on my arms to wash my hands, do just about anything in it and then sit down and watch tv. Note: the snaps are open to wear as a poncho, close them and you can use as a blanket, even share it with someone else. It has a nice pouch pocket in front for your hands or anything you'de like to carry around. I would give it 10 stars had I had had better warning about washing it....but then, my fault for not reading the small print. If you give it as a gift, make sure they know not to put it in the washer like a normal fleece, or maybr wash on delicate and hang dry and to tend the washer while washing because it is heavy when wet and my washer went "out of balance" twice while washing it. Like I said, I don't know where the problem started: washer? dryer? No matter what, it is SO WORTH IT because everyone I gave it to, loves it. It makes a great gift. P.S. stick with the "sherpa", it's like a double fleece. I tried the other one offered and returned it as it's not nearly as well made (cheap looking) and thinner, losing the plush fleece on top and the standard fleece inside, like the "sherpa" has.

Bought this on a whim and it’s absolutely magnificent. I feel like the high priestess of pillows. Length is perfect, plenty of room, a pocket for snacks...I’ve found I can’t stop twirling and singing Stevie Nicks so if you hate Fleetwood Mac, this isn’t the blanket cape for you. If you want to feel like a majestic monarch who is also wrapped in a cozy warm fort, this is the blanket cape for you. I’m trying to figure out how to wear it to work. Superb overall product.
