Speedo Unisex Swim Goggles Optical Vanquisher

I purchased these goggles as a second resort when my initial purchase from a specialty swimming goods outlet messed up my shipping order. All I can say is that this worked out perfectly for me. The Vanquisher, despite being a few dollars less than my initial choice (the one not from Amazon), works wonders. My eyesight is really bad so I had to order the -7 diopter. I've used this pair exclusivley within an indoor pool setting for about a year now, swimming once a week for approximately 12 months straight. The optical function of these goggles are obviously not perfect since they are not prescription, however it's safe, easy on my eyes (no vision issues), and provides a very necessary clarity while swimming. My main goals were to be able to see the clock and other swimmers and these goggles do the job perfectly. The only drawback I would have for this product would be that the anti-fogging cabailities eventually wore off (after a few months), however I think that's the norm so I don't want to take a star off of the rating for that. Overall very good product for the price and more importantly the function.

The goggles are ok, would recommend going up a level if you have to. I'm -7.25 and -7.5 and ordered a 7, since they don't recommend over correcting. I do see enough, so it isn't a huge problem, but I wonder if the -8 would have been better, just to take the final blurr out for the distance.

I love this product. I have not been able to really enjoy the water in years. I'm very nearsighted, have to wear my glasses, but was always afraid that I would lose them. These goggles are comfortable but water tight. When I first got them, they didn't fog up at all. Now that they are older, they do tend to fog up a bit, but I still love them.

Straps are too short! I maxed them out, but still so tight it's quite uncomfortable. Pondering what I'll do about that. Amazon fulfilled, and they've always charged me at least 20% for returns - even if the item is broken, not as described, or fulfilled by others. I don't order from Amazon if I think there's a possibility I might return it. So I read reviews, but didn't see this issue mentioned. I do wear size XL hats.

This google fits very well, and I can see while I am swimming. I do not need to put in my contact lense any more. Only problem with this one is it fogs very easily. If speedo can make something really anti-fog, will be great.

I am VERY nearsighted (purchased the -7.00s) and am pleased to report that these goggles get the job done well at a very affordable price. First and foremost, I can actually see! There are no leaks or fog. Plus, they are actually comfortable. I have a large head and deep-set eyes w/ very high cheekbones, thus, goggles are usually pretty uncomfortable for me. This is not the case with the Vanquishers. Swimming is more enjoyable being able to actually see in the water, and I feel safer. You can't beat this deal.

product is suitable...could see in water...able to swim better now....design is smart.....came on time..thanks. like the color too. the price is right too.

It's OK purchase if you want to skip putting on contacts and just put on goggles instead. However, I found that I get lots of fog after doing 2-3 laps and it could be because the rubber around the goggles are not strong enough (to prevent fogs from occurring). I found myself constantly readjusting my goggles while doing laps. Bottom line is that this goggle is good for vision but too fog-prone.

I'm so disappointed. I ordered these as a gift for my husband and when he opened them on Christmas we noticed that the goggles are not "Clear" at all, but rather a very, very dark tint called "Smoke". I double check my order details AND shipping details, and even there the goggles are described as "Clear". Buyer beware, they are not as advertised! I'm sure the dark tinted version I received would be fine for someone who swims in the full sun, but they are useless in an indoor pool. Christmas gift fail :(

These goggles have a good fit and they seal really well. I would have rated 5 stars if the nose piece wasn't quite so difficult to switch out. It's true what people tell you when you do a Google search - it does feel like you're going to break it, but when it popped out, it wasn't bad. I definitely recommend this product.

Worth every penny... i was doubtful at first buying a prescription water googles online.. but for someone who is legally blind without glasses & can’t wear lenses in the pool, THIS IS A LIFE SAVER.

Very happy, these are indeed clear (not dark as other reviewers have said) and great for indoor swimming. They are a small lens size - an "in-eye" fit - but I find them comfortable. Superior to the TYR prescription goggles I have been using to date.

These are great goggles, although not as opticlly clean as my full prescription ones the are good enough and don't leak at all, which I cant say for my prescription ones which have never sealed 100%, great product , I plan on orderingannother pair so I have a spare very soon. The 3 week wait for delivery to Canada seemed a bit excessive as they were in stock on amazon.com with a 3 day delivery forcast.
