The Stolen Sapphire (American Girl Mysteries)

I love all the American Girls Mysteries, but the Samantha ones are my favorites. This one was great! Intriguing, educational, and interesting. I like getting the old ones versus the Beforever ones (if possible) because the Peek Into the Past (or inside Samantha's world) section is better. That's always been my favorite part of all the American Girl books so it's a shame when it's either left out or not as good. This story doesn't have illustrations, but the historical essay at the end does include pictures.

I read this together with my 9 year old and we both loved it. Classic whodunit, but it leaves you guessing until the end. My daughter loved analyzing the characters to figure out which person may have stolen the jewel. I enjoyed the read too.

fun book for 7 year old girl

Got this book and a couple others like it for my daughter's birthday and she loves them. Can't stop reading them once she starts!!

A fun mystery for kids, the Samantha series never disappoints. The book is not to scary or dark but has lots of interesting characters that could be suspects.
