This is exactly what our family was looking for; a concise guide with key elements and considerations for a successful family business transfer. Written by an author who has lived it, Isaac opens with some grim statistics related to family business continuity. Motivating to anyone serious about seeing their ‘last child’ survive for their future generations.

5 Stars - Avoiding the Family Business Wealth Evaporation Trap
I've read a most books available on multigenerational family wealth and this one refreshingly covers new ground!Isaac does a great job of connecting the concepts of family dynamics and stewardship to those of wealth management; encouraging families to have a closer look at their "created and realised shareholder returns". I particularly enjoyed the worked examples on the topic of selling or retaining the family business. The second half of this book offers much needed insights into family wealth management that go beyond most works on a similar subject. Isaac offers real insights and examples that are applicable to many types of family enterprises.• Practical approaches to multigenerational family and business wealth management• Training on understanding and analyzing financial statements for non-financially oriented family members.• Tips for preparing the next generation for success, in or outside of the family business.Add this one to your bookshelf and reference it as needed. 5 stars.

Practical Handbook for Family Business
What a breath of fresh air! This book is a great, practical handbook for setting up and running a family business that will last into future generations. I love how the author takes subjects that are difficult and simply explains them without a bunch of fluff. Very straightforward and very applicable for a family business (which is similar, but not the same as a regular private corporation). The author comes with a wealth of first-hand experiences and that shows in the writing. Great resource!

Easy to understand and not overly complicated.
This book is incredibly thorough yet concise. Gets right to the point with steps that need to be taken to extend your business or your net worth into the future for your family. Very practical, easy to understand and not theoretical or academic for those who want a down to earth guideline for the transition of a family business. I gave copies to my children so they knew exactly what and why I thought this was the path to follow. I've been reading this stuff for 30+ years and this is the best I've seen yet.
