I'm still on the first insert. Mostly cutting off aluminum and soft steel. It worked great. But I think the tool steel is way to weak in the area in photo.I had since late January 2021. Its says I have a 1 year warranty. Can not find any contact information, is this by design??? I sure would like a warranty replacement for the other 9 insert.Thank you. Larry

I would have given this a 5 start but the packaging was confusing. The boring bars are packaged in a box that is for lathe tools. I contacted the seller and we were able to easily sort this out. The seller was extremely responsive and I will deal with him in the future.There are three boring bars. I have used the small one on five projects so far. It is strong and works well. Installing the carbide insert is easy but I would recommend strongly that you keep the grub screw on the driver as it is small and easily dropped. The inserts seem to be well made and cut easily.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This little boring bar surprised me! It works like a charm. Because it's so small I was only taking .007" to .010" at a time. In the video, I'm taking .007" off for the last pass. I'm am using it to bore the receiver on a custom PCP AIRGUN for the BCG.

Well made, inserts are better than I expected, work well in mild steel, and stainless at low speed with coolant.wish shanks were 1/2" but new what I was getting

Disappointed, difficult to get inserts to stay in place. I took too much of a cut, chipped the insert and the holder bent. My fault, but I didn't expext the holder to bend,

The tool holders are good but the inserts that come with them are junk. Each one I've used so far has chipped or shattered after a short period of use. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Got it for a job, it did the job just fine. No thrills but worked well. I have used only one bar once.

Great price made even better with all the included carbide inserts-beats having to grind tool-steel blades, no wandering and works well even on pre-heat-treated 4140
