Great buy (;
m not trying to be dramatic when I say this $22 hand mixer is one of the best kitchen purchases I’ve ever made. In a world where stand mixers cost as much as a plane ticket and take up half a cabinet, the lord eagle Hand Mixer with the snap-on case is the scrappy, no-nonsense hero that shows up exactly when you need it—especially on Thanksgiving Eve when you realize you still have to whip cream, mash 10 pounds of potatoes, beat pumpkin pie filling, and make two batches of dinner rolls, and your cousin just texted that she’s bringing her new boyfriend who’s apparently “really into homemade whipped butter.” I’ve owned KitchenAid stand mixers. I’ve owned a $120 Breville hand mixer that sounded like a jet engine. I’ve even borrowed my mom’s ancient Sunbeam from 1987 that weighed nine pounds and threatened to fly out of my hands. And yet, year after year, the cheap little Hamilton Beach is the one I reach for when I’m elbow-deep in holiday chaos. Here’s why. Storage That Actually Makes Sense This is the single feature that makes me evangelical about this mixer. The beaters, dough hooks, and whisk all snap into the bottom of the unit, then the entire case clips shut with the cord wrapped neatly around it. The whole thing is smaller than a shoebox and slides into even the most overcrowded apartment cabinet. I can store it vertically or horizontally. I’ve literally tossed it into a drawer with spatulas and measuring cups and nothing gets tangled or bent. After Thanksgiving, when I’m exhausted and everything is covered in flour, I don’t have to hunt for a Tupperware to hold the beaters or wrap the cord with a twist tie like some kind of caveman. Snap, done. It’s stupid how happy this makes me. Power That Punches Way Above Its Price Don’t let the 250 watts fool you—this thing is a beast for what it is. I’ve made multiple batches of cut-out sugar cookie dough (the thick, roll-out kind) without it even getting warm. It handled bread dough with the hooks better than my old $80 mixer did. On Thanksgiving, it turns mashed potatoes into clouds. Speed 6 is legitimately scary-fast for whipped cream—30–40 seconds and you’re at stiff peaks. The “Burst” button is clutch when you hit a stubborn lump of brown sugar in your sweet potato casserole. The slower speeds (1–3) are actually slow, which is shockingly rare in budget mixers. Most cheap ones start at “tornado” and go up to “hurricane.” This one lets you incorporate flour into butter without redecorating your kitchen in a white dust cloud. Huge deal when you’re making pie crust or gravy roux. Thanksgiving Real-Talk Scenarios Where It Saved Me - 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night: Realized I forgot to make whipped cream for three pies. Plugged this in, 35 seconds later—perfect peaks. Went back to watching Netflix. - Thanksgiving Day, 2:00 p.m.: Mashed 8 lbs of Yukon Golds with butter and cream. Creamy, no lumps, mixer never strained. - 4:30 p.m.: Cousin announces boyfriend loves “artisanal” dinner rolls. Used the dough hooks to knead a double batch of potato roll dough in the bowl in under 4 minutes. - 7:00 p.m.: Needed to whip egg whites for forgotten chocolate mousse. Again, 40 seconds. Hero status achieved. Build Quality & Durability (Yes, Really) I’ve had mine for four years. It’s been dropped on tile (twice), accidentally left in a sink of soapy water overnight, and used for roughly 400 batches of cookies. Still looks and works like new. The chrome beaters are thick and haven’t bent. The plastic case has a couple of scuffs but hasn’t cracked. The eject button still works perfectly—no sticky beaters. For twenty-two dollars. Minor Nitpicks (Because Nothing Is Perfect) - It’s not silent. It’s loud-ish on higher speeds, but quieter than most in this price range. - No slow-start feature (some pricier models ease in to prevent flour explosions). You just have to start on 1 for five seconds like a civilized people. - Only comes with two beaters, one whisk, and two dough hooks. If you lose one, you’re annoyed, but replacements are cheap. Who This Is Perfect For - Apartment dwellers with zero cabinet space - College kids or first-apartment people - Anyone who bakes occasionally but doesn’t want to spend $300+ on a stand mixer - People who always seem to be hosting Thanksgiving at the last minute (hi) - Secondary mixer owners who already have a stand mixer but need something lightweight to whip cream at the table or mash potatoes on the stove Who Should Skip It If you bake sourdough every day or make ten loaves of challah at a time, you’ll probably want something heavier duty. For everyone else? Buy this immediately. I’m genuinely trying to think of something in my kitchen that gives me this much joy for the price. A good chef’s knife? Sure. My cast-iron skillet? Absolutely. But dollar-for-dollar, this stupid little hand mixer with its ridiculous snap-on case is up there. If it died tomorrow I’d order another the same day—no hesitation. Do yourself a favor: add it to your cart right now. Your future Thanksgiving-self, covered in flour and panic-sweating at 10 p.m. because the pies still aren’t done, will thank you. (And yes, I bought a second one for my mom last Christmas. She texted me on Thanksgiving Eve: “This thing is AMAZING.” Validation achieved.)

Lots of Power
This is a great mixer!! It may not be a name brand but the performance is great and the mixer blades work so much better than the wire blades that seems to be the latest fad!! It has plenty of power. I ordered a Kitchen Aid and returned it. This little mixer is a great addition to my mixers, two Kitchen Aid Stand mixers, a Bosch Mixer. You will not be disappointed with this mixer!!

I like it!!!
I like the mixer. Has alot of power and the storage case is great. Works great out of the box. Shipping was on time, packaging was good. It does take a bit of force on the beater eject button to pop them out but I can do it with arthritic hands. Turbo boost is a help. All in all its a great mixer.

Beaters suck for thick batter, but motor is strong
Good news is the motor hasn't died on me yet. Bad news is the bester attachments suck. I tried beating cream cheese (already softened) & sugar to make a basque cheesecake. The motor is fine but the beaters themselves are terrible for thick batter. The "cage" part is not one piece with the rod, so when you try to blend on speed 1, the rods spin but the cage gets stuck. I could buy replacements but that probably wouldn't fix anything. Overall, I would recommend this only for basic baking and regular thickness batters, but not for thick creaming with minimal liquid. I had to use the whisk which weirdly worked better even though it made it a bit airy. Also slightly annoying that the storage doesn't actually snap on, but I just use some basic painters tape to keep everything together when in storage. I wish speed 1 was slower. And the hand mixer is heavy to hold up, but that's probably the case with most of them.

Great and handy mixer
This is easy to use, and it all stores together which is much better than searching the kitchen for the blades! Light and handy.

So cute and retro
I needed a new mixer so bad, this is adorable and all the extra attachments fit in the bottom plastic container that attaches to the mixer. It works great and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It seems very good quality, but I’ve yet to use it for bread or eggs, it does come with those extra attachments. Great buy. My son even thought it was pretty cool because of the color green!

Lighter,easy to store.
My kitchen aide is broken. I needed a mixer. This is lighter, quick and easy to handle. Color matches my kitchen too.

Good When It Was Working!
I've used this hand mixer maybe 3 times. Today it stopped working in the middle of making buttercream icing for a cake. It just stopped! It really but me in a bind because I was making a cake for my granddaughters gender reveal. I was forced to buy another mixer in order to finish her cake. I'm a senior and don't bake or cook much anymore and was really pleased with this mixer when I first bought it, but it was a big disappointment when it quit working after only using it maybe 3 times. After reading other reviews evidently there has been a malfunction in this mixer. I will gladly sent the mixer back if the hope the seller makes it right and refunds me

I used this yesterday for the first time and it works perfectly. I was making a zucchini loaf and I love the difference speeds. I would definitely recommend it. Also it comes in a nice little case. great for storing it.

Such a great little purchase. Love the extra attachments and carry box that it comes in. It just clips nicely underneath the whisk making everything so tidy. Have used it multiple times and absolutely love it. Recommended.

My wife makes cakes for our sons birthdays and was doing mixing etc by hand. So this year, I jumped online and saw that this looked good. Wasn't sure what to expext with price, but wow, mighty little beast. Safe to say, the cake making process was alot easier! Good range of attachments and easy to put together and undo. Quiet for the speed and easy to take apart to clean. Our baking will definitley be easier from now on. Easily recommend this to anyone

I liked it because it was easy to use and stored the blades in the box very well.
