What is the difference between the tourist and Spartan?

Both Swiss Army Knives have the same tools, however, the Swiss Army Tourist is 3.31 inches in length and the Swiss Army Spartan is 3.58 inches in length.

Given both include same tools but Spartan is bigger than Tourist, why is that Tourist is more expensive ?

Victorinox sells a lot more of the Spartan model than the smaller Tourist model. The tastes of the public change over time, as with many goods. Years ago the smaller 84mm (3-1/4”) frame size was more popular. But now the 91mm frame size (3-1/2”) is more the current choice. And, yes, Victorinox sells other sizes as well, including the 58mm family, such as the bestselling SD Classic and the 93mm Alox models, like the sturdy Farmer. But at present the Tourist model is a bit underrated. But personally it’s a very nice little pocket tool that is more compact and easier to carry than the Spartan. That’s my opinion.
