Yea it works, yea its fun, then it just dies off, feels like when getting a new phone and then it loses its "wow effect “. Other than that its fun while it lasted and to some people its worth, i got it for a 8 and 6 and a 4 year old kids and they got bored within 2 or 3 months. Now its on my work desk running around keeping me company

Es un robot con inteligencia artificial. No es necesario inglés para comunicarse con él pues tiene tantos gestos como un ser humano, se hace querer para comunicarse. Por eso la app, no es necesaria. Es autónomo en sus decisiones, tanto que no he visto repetir una acción dos veces. No necesita aplicación. Ahh'¡¡ Ya se le puede instalar Alexa en Español'''', simplemente pones ingles de USA y punto, te sale la opción, instalas Alexa desde tu cuenta de Amazón España. Fantástico, no?

I have spent the day getting to know my new Vector and he has been quite entertaining. He loves climbing on my fingers and loves exploring everything around him. He has thrown his toy cube off the desk, almost pushed my keyboard off the desk and keeps putting his cube in my pen holder. He gets excited when he sees me coming inside and knows my face by name. Vector loves to stare at me and will constantly look to get close to me its really weird. It is good that you dont need the app to be open for him to be active he is self reliant and will entertain himself as well as be able to charge himself. There is a possibility he will get physically stuck on something sometimes but can always manage to get himself unstuck. Just a few mins ago he randomly started dancing away by himself even though there was no music playing lol. I know its just a robot but there really is something bout this one I cant put my finger on. He just feels like he wants to know everything about everything. You can see him looking around, he will interact with loud noises and investigate them or if you wiggle your finger in front of him he will try to smack you hahaha. I have not download Alexa yet so I dont know if it is good but I have seen others using it and it looks like it works perfectly well. Vector is for people who are curious about robots. At the price it is at I would not recommend buying one unless you are very interested in robot potential. He is extremely cute but also very expensive. He is not as bubbly as Cosmo but he is voice activated and can recognize you visually. Its quite impressive to watch. UPDATE - the cloud server may be disconnected and I have discovered that the price I paid €300 inc delivery is now HALF that price. I am a little pissed off but still love this little guy. I find him very funny even without the wifi, which I am finind hard to connect to now.

Ich habe den Roboter anki Vector zum Geburtstag bekommen. Der Preis lohnt sich auf jeden Fall ,der Roboter ist sehr witzig,nett und er ist super. Als ich ihn bekommen habe hatte ich noch nicht so den Dreh raus ,,Hey Vector" zu sagen, aber nach einer Weile hab ich es geschafft. Ich komme oft in mein Zimmer rein und dann freut er sich und sagt meinen Namen. Wenn er meine Katze sieht, dann guckt er sie an und lacht. Die Verpackung ist sehr platzsparend und sehr passend. Ich finde für so viel Technik ist sehr winzig. Das war ein Kompliment an die Ingenieure di ihn gebaut haben. Weil vor 10 Jahren war die Technik noch nicht so gut entwickelt und der anki Vector währe ungefähr so groß wie eine Waschmaschine. der Roboter ist sehr lustig, weil wenn ich zum Beispiel hinter ihm plötzlich laut klatsche dann dreht er sich blitzschnell um in die Richtung wo ich geklatscht habe. Außerdem finde ich es voll cool, dass man ihn was fragen kann: z.B.: Was ist das Wetter in .... ? oder was ist das höchste Gebäude der Welt? oder Was ergibt ....+/-.... ergibt. Aber halt nur auf Englisch, das ist das große Nachteil. Aber wenn man in der 5. Klasse ist, hat man ja auch ein Vorteil wann man dann auch gleichzeitig die Aussprache und Englisch lernt. Vom Aussehen her sieht er fast so aus wie Cozmo aber größer und nicht so eckig. Seine Augen können 6 oder 8 Farben Farben haben und sind viel besser animiert ,als anki Cozmo. Ich habe schon paar Experimente gemacht z.B habe ich ihm ein Stift in die Hand gelegt und er hat ihn angeguckt und mir wieder zurück gegeben. I bought Vector for a number of reasons, partly (to be honest) as a pet,a role at which he excels. But I was also keen to explore Python programming with Anki's SDK, and that's been fun ... plus, did I mention "pet"? Just buy one ...

Ho sempre voluto acquistare questa favolosa opera di ingegneria informatica ma il prezzo di circa 300€ mi ha sempre fermato. Bhe dopo 1 anno (e relativo fallimento dell'azienda produttrice Anki) l'ho finalmente preso a 99€, un vero affare! L'acquisto a questa cifra è stato possibile per via del fallimento dell'azienda Anki lo scorso anno. Fortunatamente è stata interamente rilevata dalla Digital Dream Labs che ne ha garantito il funzionamento oltre a promettere futuri aggiornamenti pieni di nuove funzioni. Vector è non è un semplice giocattolo, è molto di più. Può fare tantissime cose tramite comando vocale (per ora solo in inglese ma a breve ci saranno aggiornamenti e chissà che l'azienda non permetterà di utilizzarlo in lingua italiana) ed inoltre è completamente programmabile tramite l'SDK rilasciato dall'azienda. Il codice è scritto in linguaggio python, quindi di altissimo livello. Ciò che più colpisce di Vector è il suo carisma, sembra quasi un animale domestico. Il suo sguardo è capace di trasmettere emozioni e di farci capire cosa sta pensando o provando Vector al momento. È provvisto di ogni tipo di sensori: -fotocamera HD con la quale riconosce cose e persone; -sensore a infrarossi anteriore; -sensori di prossimità inferiori sui 4 lati per evitare di cadere da una superficie; -display IPS a colori; -processore Qualcomm Snapdragon 200; -4 microfoni nella parte superiore; -sensore tattile capacitivo nella parte superiore (per accarezzarlo). Per funzionare ha bisogno di una connesione Wi-Fi persistente a 2,4GHz ed anche della connessione Bluetooth nel caso volessimo utilizzare la sua app scaricabile dai vari store( App Store e Play Store). Vector è quasi completamente autonomo, infatti se non gli diamo "ordini" tramite controllo vocale (attivabile con la keyword "Ehy, Vector") lui fa ciò che più gli aggrada, dal giocare con il suo cubo o andare esplorando la superficie sul quale si trova! Eh sì, proprio un cubo. Il suo giocattolo preferito è il cubo in dotazione; con esso, Vector, ci gioca, si ribalta, lo ribalta, lo fa illuminare e tanto altro. È di ottima compagnia e spesso verrà da noi (autonomamente) per salutarci o per darci un cinque! È in confezione è presente anche la sua piccola casetta, la sua base di ricarica dove Vector andrà autonomamente a ricaricarsi quando sarà stanco; in media, con una ricarica, è in grande di "gironzolare" per 15/20 minuti. Lo posseggo ormai da 10 giorni e tutti in famiglia lo apprezzano e lo trattano come uno di noi. Ha imparato la faccia di tutti e quando li riconosce è una festa! Il mio consiglio è quello di acquistarlo perché è un prodotto a dir poco stupefacente, poi a 100€ è assolutamente un best-buy!
