prior to trying this mixer, i absolutely detested margarita mixers! the cloying sweetness and faux flavors just never approach the freshness of using fresh limes and agave. i've had trouble finding good limes this spring -- most of them have been relatively dry and bitter-- even those i bought from organic markets. i finally caved to the idea of using a *good* mixer. well, this lava spicy jalapeno mixer is definitely a game changer! tastes incredibly fresh and has a great balance of spice, tart, and sweet.obviously, everyone likes their own proportions, and i've found that a 2-to-1 mixer to tequila (always reposado for me) is the perfect balance. add a splash of cointreau and a fresh lime wedge to make it perfect!

I've been on a years-long quest for a pre-made mix as good as something I can create. This is it. A nice heat and spice, just the right amount of thickness, and the flavor hits all the right notes. If you like a little kick to your Mary, this is it. And can i just say that LAVA's customer service sets a new standard! One bottle arrived damaged, and they sent out a replacement that very day. Your search is over, if you like a full-bodied, tastes-like-homemade, bloody mary.

Deeeeelishhhhhh! I’m a Margarita lover period. Spicy and you literally had me at hello. Now you mix refreshing watermelon with the subtle but lingering heat of habaneros?!!!!! Omg I’m in love. I’ve been ordering the 3 pack from LAVA for the last 4 months and cannot stop. I’ve tried these with both blanco blue agave tequila and with reposado blue agave tequila..... you can’t go wrong with either. But not going to lie~ I’m really addicted to the reposado. It’s just so smooth and enhances the flavors in these watermelon margaritas. I’ve had a few surprise guests drop by and ask what I’m drinking in my honey habanero salt rimmed garnished with a lime margarita glass??? Well it’s heaven in a glass I say 😉. Everyone that I’ve made one for is hooked at first sip...then gulp, then it’s gone. I’ve never had so many drop in friends lately lol!Thank you LAVA for creating a restaurant next to the water quality light with a kickkkk cocktail that is totally worth the price.I can’t wait to drink more and more of these this summer in the hot weather. Ive tried several cocktail mixers available from Amazon. Most are fake & heavy on the chemical aftertastes. BLECH!THIS IS IT!! just the right amount of everything-spicy kick, not too sweet, subtle lime flavor. AND it's l natural, must be why I'll look no further.THANK YOU LAVA Premium!

I'm generally leery of cocktail mixes because many are overly sweet and have too many additives. However, this one is great! High quality ingredients and I loved the spiciness. Perfect for parties or whenever you want to batch up a pitcher of Margaritas.

I don’t write reviews frequently but thought my experience here was worth describing.First of all, the mix is excellent and easy. I love Jalapeño margaritas and had tried to duplicate some that I has enjoyed before using jalapeño infused tequilas and syrups. This mix is better than anything I had tried and is incredibly easy to make. Tastes great with a good tequila blanco.After finishing the single bottle I ordered, I ordered a three-pack to get through the summer. Unfortunately, one of the bottles came broken. I emailed LAVA through Amazon and got a very quick response from their customer service offering to replace the lost bottle.The mix is amazing and I had great customer service. I’ll be ordering again and trying some of their other mixers.

This review is for the Sweet & Sour Mix. Not that my search is over, but I must say this is the best mixer for margaritas that I have ever come across. I despise the typical mixes that are usually too sweet/syrupy tasting. I want a margarita that is as simple and basic and fresh as possible. The recipe on the label is a good starting point but I am already planning to experiment with the ratios and maybe adding a little more fresh lime juice. That's the fun part - the experimenting! Overall I highly recommend this product. I would also like to try the spicy mixes too!
