Fluval Plant Micro Nutrient for Aquariums, 8.4-Ounce

Was very nice and helped my plants grow, super cheap as well!

I started gardening in 2020, and to my pleasant surprise, beginning in 2021, all kinds of seedling began peaking out of the dirt. Of course to my disappointment, these out of season seedlings were generally far too weak to withstand the out of season weather swings, (even though I'm in SoCal, a baby tomato seedling couldn't survive outside in the winter), pest, and disease. Of course as a new gardener pest and disease was something I was still learning, and I purchase Fluval because it contained ingredients which I saw on one paper made plants less attractive to pest, which reduced their chances of getting diseases. Well, this year, I sprayed my volunteer tomato seedlings with Fluval, and after noticing no damage, I begin spraying them like a mad woman, 2-3 times per week. WOW, not only do I have a RECORD number of surviving random seedlings, but they are some of the most healthy tomato plants I've ever grown. No early blight, almost no sucking pest, and stalks and shoots are bigger and more sturdy than I've ever had. I'll let you figure out which ones were foliar sprayed with Fluval, and which one wasn't. Again, these were all winter volunteer plants that grew, no mistaking this stuff made a difference, and at this price? Well...

My bunched plants love this stuff, but i ran into trouble in a heavily planted aquarium that has cherry, ghost, and amano shrimp. 100% of the ghost shrimp died, 65% of the cherries, and 80% of the amanos. After reading the label, i discovered it has 3 times as much copper as the fertilizer i normally use. Copper is toxic to many parasites, but also to invertebrates. I now only use in tanks with fish only. I even noticed a higher mortality of ramshorn Snails with this product, however bladder snails seem to tolerate it. I would be hesitant, therefore, to use it in tanks with even more sensitive snails, such as rabbits, mystery, or nerites.

Gave my first dose last week, and i had small plants, within a 1500 gallon pond, so needless to say the algea bloomed big time, however my other small plants, blew up so rapidly in size, that within 3 days the algea went from so dark green you couldnt see the bottom, to crystal clear again. now my plants are thriving and i have no issues with algea bloom, just very beautiful happy plants. great deal! i also used this stuff in a fish tank last year with GREAT success. each time ive used it, it was used with Guppies, cory cats, and some yoyo loaches. no fish were harmed in the making of this comment ;)

This is my 6th purchase. Definitely my go to always have it on hand fertilizer. A little bit goes a long way. 5ml treats 60 gallons. My plants are always healthy, strong and bright green and the red ones are always a nice deep red. I have fish, crayfish, shrimp, scuds and turtles. This fertilizer has never affected any of my aquatic friends.

This worked pretty good on the plants in my tank. I recommend it. Much cheaper than the pet store.

It works really well just make sure you don’t have any shrimp because anything with copper kills them. I learned the hard way.. my betta was fine though

Llevo unas semanas usando Fluval Micronutrientes en mi acuario plantado y he notado una mejora real en el color y el crecimiento de las plantas. Algunas que estaban apagadas o con hojas amarillas empezaron a recuperar su tono verde intenso, y otras incluso han empezado a sacar nuevos brotes. Lo que más me gusta es que es fácil de dosificar con el tapón medidor y que se puede usar junto con otros fertilizantes como macronutrientes o CO₂ sin problema. No enturbia el agua ni afecta a los peces (al menos en mi caso).
