Great little wine cooler
Bought this after seeing reviews in New York Magazine, and intrigued by this thermoelectric cooler. Downsized into a new house with a fabulous chef's kitchen, but no wine cooler. Did not have space for a stainless "trophy" wine cooler, just want to keep a case or so of red wine at 55 degrees. Ordered this after consulting with my electrician, who said it would be OK to put this in a pantry with lots of air space and ventilation. Very pleased with the performance thus far, and has no problem holding 20 bottles. It's quiet, and an excellent value. So far so good.

Right Cooler, Right Size and Price
A few months in, I am very pleased with this product. It is easy to set up. The temperature control is effective. For people who store no more than 20 bottles, this is the right size and fits nicely in a small space. It is also relatively quiet. Most importantly, it preserves wine and the ideal 55 degrees, eliminating the impact of wide swings in temperatures and humidity. Both whites and reds are consistent. A good product for modest wine collectors at a good value.

What's not to like? Well, Controls mainly.
I put five stars for the noise level, which is not quite accurate. There IS no noise. Controls are convenient, it comfortably holds 20 bottles and it looks nice. Edit: I was able to switch back and forth between celsius and fahrenheit. With ease. At first. Now, it's Celsius or nothing. Not a big problem, since conversion (for us Americans, who haven't figured out how to deal with modern measurements) is easy enough. A worse problem, though: It is difficult, if not impossible, to raise the temperature. Mine is currently at 16 Celsius (60 F) which is too cold for red wine, which is all we buy. I thought that the upper limit of 18C (64 F) was too low to begin with . . . but now I can't even get to 18C. Room temp here in the Desert Southwest is constantly 80F, obviously way too warm . . . and the refrigerator is at 41 F, way too cool. That's why I bought a wine cooler. I still like this thing, but I'm downgrading it from 5 stars to 4 because of the control problems. Anybody else having issues like this?

after 5-6 months Not vibration free
We purchased this wine cooler, the Koolatron WC20, this past summer, after our old trusted unit died. Initially, this unit performed as advertised. Quiet. Reliable. The only annoyance was the freaking temperature 'unit' setting kept switching back to Celcius and it is non-intuitive how to set it back. Eventually, we'd find the manual and figure out how to reset it (always a pain in the butt), but not a deal breaker. However, we are now in our 6th month of usage, and over the last 1.5 months a vibration noise has started to rumble, at first subtle, now loud. Its really frustrating because the cooler is in my office. The room is a decent size and I never noticed the old cooler making noise, but this does and its getting louder. Since the company makes a point to declare 'vibration-free' in the item title, you would hope this unit is an anomaly and they will stand behind a repair (fan bearings?), replacement or refund. Like I mentioned initially, our old wine cooler ran for years, never even noticing its was on. We expected this thing to do the same. At a minimum give us 4-5 years of problem free operation. I mean it sits, almost hidden, in a traffic free area.

Good size. Good space. Can remove almost all shelving. About 35-40 deg worth of temp delta.
I have two. Both are nice and silent. Their power is limited. Cannot hit min temp (46F) if the surrounding area is hotter than ~85F. Can be used for a controlled temp drying / dehydration environment.

Great for countertop
We have a countertop bar and this fits perfectly! It looks great as well. Putting the shelves in was easy, and they’re very secure. The instructions for setting up the fridge were very clear and easy to follow. I would easily make this purchase again if I needed to.

Great for cigars
I’m using this for my cigars with a boveda inside. It keeps humidity well and temperature pretty well, although I live in a hot climate so I don’t expect it to be perfect. It does say that it depends on the ambient temperature and we don’t use AC often. It does a good job! Would recommend if you’re looking to get into the wine cooler side of humidors.

Works amazing in my guest bedroom for my cans. I bought it for wine, but I don't drink wine anymore. It fits 2 large cans in place of a bottle! The light inside makes it look very cool too!

I have owned this fridge for almost a week now. I use it to store beer. Nothing bad to say about it. It keeps its temperature fine. Yes, there is a buzzing sound from the compressor, but if there is ambient sound you will not hear it. Before power it, I followed the instruction to let the fridge sit for two hours to prevent cooling system malfunction. It takes time for the fridge to reach temperature when adding new beverage that are at room temperature, but it is normal for the size of the fridge. I am happy with my purchase so far.

Fit perfectly in our kitchen and very nice

Works as stated but would have liked a shelf that was able to hold wider bottles. Took 24hrs to cool rm temp wines to set temp. as stated. Slight hum but not noticeable with normal household noise.
