My wife's Infinity QX80 had the dreaded rear-end sag. I originally suspected the air compressor, however, upon inspection realized that one of the rear shocks had a ruptured air bag. This vehicle is equipped with the Hydraulic Body Motion Control (HBMC) system, meaning one cannot simply replace a shock and be done with it. The dealers want upwards of $4000 to replace the shocks and recharge the system, thus, I decided to tackle this myself. Without going into all the details, an important step in the replacement process includes recharging the specialty hydraulic fluid, bleeding out the air similar to a brake caliper replacement, and ensuring a final pressure of approximately 300 psi. Although the IRONWALLS Hydrostatic Pressure Tester is primarily designed for water, it functioned flawlessly with the hydraulic oil, had zero issues pumping, did not leak, and maintained constant pressure. In addition, the pressure gauge includes MPa, PSI, and BAR which is very convenient depending on your preference. The Nissan/Infinity hydrostatic pump will set you back $3000 or more, whereas the IRONWALLS Hydrostatic Pressure Tester is an incredible value for less than $90.00 delivered! The bottom line, I was able to replace all my shocks, completely flush the HBMC fluid, and replace my brake pads for less than $1000! That includes this tester, the (very expensive) hydraulic fluid, and various fittings necessary to adapt to the HBMC manifold. Without this tester, this is a dealer-only project. Do yourself a favor; buy it and save thousands!

Excellent product! Pumped my fire sprinklers up to 200 psi in about 150 pumps.

I picked this up to pressure test piping being installed at my plant. It worked with no issues. I consider it to be a good value for the money.

I work on commercial and industrial piping systems and normally use a electric hydrostatic pump for my testing of piping systems .. this past job I had 18 small loops for hydronic radiant panels that needed to be tested but were too small to use the electric pump as psi built too quickly and broke gauges. This pump was perfect for those and east to use.
