Rustic ship bow is a ceramic ship bow with two curly, wire steam pieces and a captains cabin. It's a colourful ceramic ship, a lovely, Greek folk art piece.This ceramic ship bow sculpture is three dimensional with the bow actulally sticking out, pointing forward. The lower vessel part is in a red-black colour, so very typical of old, rusty ships, the top part of the bow being white with bluish port holes and an ochre yellow, decorative line over them. The captain's cabin is in a white colour with green windows, painted faded red on the outside. Over the cabin windows is the slanting cabin roof and from it stem the curly wire pieces for the steam. The white colour, wherever you find it on the ship's bow surface is in a grainy, lined and textured style, not clear white. This ceramic ship's bow was made with high fire stoneware clay and was fired with oxides. It is completely hand built. There is a little hoop at the back from which to hang the boat on the wall. This Greek, folk art ship's bow measures 26 cm in height x 13.50 cm in length ( 10.24'' x 5.31'') . It is not heavy. The tip of the ship's prow stands out from the rest of the sculpture 5cm ( 1.97'') at the top.This is this boat's width. This ceramic, ship sculpture is for the wall only.
