So this has become my primary jacket outside of /very/ cold weather. Worn by itself over a T-shirt, it's very breathable, so if you just like the look, you're not going to overheat on warm days. Layered with a hoodie, it'll keep you warm into the 40's. I'm pretty skinny though, so it doesn't cut it in the dead of winter where I live, where it routinely dips into the 20's during the day, so your mileage may vary!I'm a big fan of the bomber look, and this jacket is honestly one of the best I've owned. The build quality is honestly killer, and it has TONS of pockets for storing your various knick-knacks, snacks for later, receipts you forgot about, ancient eldritch good luck charms, etc. It even has a little pocket on the sleeve with inserts to store your pens! I've literally never considered that option in my life, but hey, it's there!Also, in the black colorway at least, the inside is reversible to emergency orange. I question how comfortable it would be like that, but I imagine it's more for if you get stranded, you're easily noticeable, and the flash of orange if you leave it unzipped is a pretty neat feature, unless you're not a fan of the color. I personally think it looks pretty cash money! Layered with a cropped hoodie, it really brings out the cyberpunk style potential, especially if you bomb it with patches like I did.I think it looks a teeny bit plain in standard black, but it leaves a lot of room to cover it in pins or patches if you're into that style, and I think it pulls off the patched look fantastically!Bottom line, it's a stylish jacket that's made fantastically, it's not very slim fitting, so you can layer hoodies under it easily, but it's not so poofy as to fit like a parachute. It looks great covered in pins and patches or layered with other clothes, the water proofing is a nice addition, and it'll keep you warm 9 months out of the year unless you live in the frozen over 9th circle of hell like I do, but if ya do, just wear a beanie, hoodie and gloves with it, ya donut!

Color was not as expected.

I have the Alpha Industries ma-1 ladies flight jacket and I love it, it's silky soft, stylish, water resistant and warm af... That being said I purchased this jacket in sage for a spring/summer lighter coat. I'm pretty sure I'm in love again! It's more matte than then my OG jacket but it's still water resistant and has same high quality feel n look just waaay less bulky. I'm about a size 12 and the medium fits pretty good I even tried with a light hoodie underneath seemed to work pretty well. The reason it's not reversible is the tags are sewen unto the inner orange lining instead of the pockets like the OG. The inner tag and remove before flight tag have polka dots I'm guessing cause it's made for women (idk, cute though!)My only problem so far is the price, it's basically windbreaker so I wish it was a bit cheaper.

One of my favorite jackets, though I'd caution Alpha to watch their quality control...stitching and detail has slipped a noticeable bit in past years, and I wonder if I'm seeing this apply more to the women's items with the fashion quotient and Hollywood types showing interest. Not enough to make me drop off the grid though. These run true to size but don't expect a cropped clubby fit as this is an authentic military piece, just sized down for ladies. Green color is quite muted, a faded, traditional military sage green not a dark olive. All in all, a nice translation of the original.

I'm order size L and come with a bit loose but its' fine, nice jacket.

Love these jackets. They do tend to run a bit small. I had originally ordered a medium and the sleeves were too short and it was tighter around the back. The large is perfect.

Super cute, classic bomber jacket. It is a very authentic, durable jacket rather than just a fashion piece. That being said it is very fashionable and I have received many compliments while wearing it. A tad small but not bad, just kind of fitted
