Mind you — I am not a critic of frames and can’t spot synthetic wood from real. I just graduated after all, and I still have posters with torn-up edges thumb-tacked to my wall.I graduated (Go Cougs!!) during COVID times, and I was pretty proud of it. I wanted to get a nice frame to display the sheet of paper that I had worked my butt off for. But when I opened that sealed package with my hard earned diploma, out popped an advertisement: $150 for a frame! You’ve gotta be kidding me!I hit Amazon to find an inexpensive option as usual, and this was what I came across. “Okay,” I thought. “It’s worth a shot, I guess.”At my doorstep arrived this frame — the corners insulated with styrofoam, no damage present whatsoever. Textured mat, beautiful crisp edges. Installation of my diploma was so easy a caveman can do it. Hardware included to tack that sucker up on my wall.This is my first Amazon review. That’s how good it is. Get it.

I've always felt that picture/document frames are ridiculously expensive considering the materials, simplicity, and labor involved. This one is relatively inexpensive but still pretty nice. I got the one that fits 11x14 documents. The black matting adds a polished look. The frame itself is surprisingly light, which made me think it was plastic. But it's not; it's actually wood. Some kind of lightweight wood obviously. And the acrylic plate makes it lighter too. I'd prefer glass as it wouldn't be as easily scratched, but that would have undoubtedly raised the price.

Forget paying 100 plus for a decent frame. This frame blows them out of the water. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

The frame had an impressive presentation online with recent positive reviews influenced my decision. The frame looked better than my schools 11x14 diploma frame at the same price. The delivery was speedy. Once I opened my package I was impressed. I cannot wait to hang my terminal degree.

These are by far the worst product I have ever purchased online. They are all broken when I received them. I tried to glue the broken corner back together , but another corner would pull apart. DO NOT BUY!@!

We needed a professional frame for my husband’s surgery program diploma. This did not disappoint! It’s well crafted and a nice color palette for his office. It arrived in great shape, too- well packaged!

It's about half the price of a "real" lacquered over real wood diploma frame and it's the larger size but under scrutiny I just couldn't keep it. I spent almost double but in the end it felt worth it.

I spent quite a while trying to find a frame that would fit my 11 x 14 diploma, while also having a mat (border around the document). I didn’t like the look of the ones offered by the university’s vendor AND they were 3-4 times the cost of this one (Black+red(golden Rim)2 version).My school colors are red, gold, & black, so the tassel that I have hanging on the corner looks great with it!

Bits of plastic are stuck after peeling off the protective layer from the acrylic! I gotta figure out how to remove it cuz they are just stuck. It’s not a HUGE deal but if the light catches it you can see them EVERYWHEREThe frame also isn’t flat, so when it’s hung, one edge sticks out noticeably while the other 3 are in plane.All in all it’s fine for the job and unless you’re looking for imperfections, it’ll do. But definitely NOT high quality and DEFINITELY not something you’d gift someone, it’s fine for personal use tho

When it says it has an Acrylic plate - they mean the clear front is Acrylic and not glass. Plate is a poor descriptor as it seemed like it was a plate that held the paper in place internally. What a cheap piece of junk to have the glass cover actually be plastic. Also- there are these weird extra parts to mail into the back and there is a picture to show you how to do it but it doesn’t say what it’s for and isn’t necessary for hanging it as there are proper metal hanging teeth on the back. I wouldn’t but this again.
