She has done it again. This book is so good. I’ve read this author’s PDA series and the other sassy mates books and I can say for those wondering that this book was everything I wanted and more. I have expectations when I pick up one of these books. I want exciting plots that are never boring, pulse-pounding action, alpha males that take charge without ever coming off as abusive, and unique personalities that come alive and stay with you long after reading.This book had all of the above, so I had to scramble over and write a review on it so no one misses out.Emma is one of my favorite female characters of all time. Brave and stubborn, but with reasons that make sense. The author has a way of making you think one thing about a character and then turning it on its head when you realize you have misjudged them. It makes you think of how you may do that to people in real life. If we actually get to know people and their circumstances and why they are the way they are, we just might love them. That’s a powerful lesson to glean from a paranormal shifter novel. I think it's part of what makes this author an all-star.But anyway, Emma was awesome. She’s strong and capable and yes, a little reckless, but what better way for us to see our super hot and powerful alpha getting all rawr protective of his woman?Speaking of which…MASON. Ohhhhhh Mason. *Fans face*. I don't even know what to say there. *Blush*.He's protective, persistent, a sexy powerhouse in the bedroom, a dirty talker who never goes over the top. Just a really, really hot male of the type that you'd like to have for your own. Borrowing him for a few hours is nice too. ;) I was just so impressed at how he handled her stubbornness. He wanted so badly to protect her, but he knew he didn't have the right to control her. This was a true love story of two people giving each other the space and patience needed to build a relationship on the right foundations. And we readers got to enjoy the hot sexy smex in the meantime!There is also a lot of action in this book that really got my heart-rate going! Eek! I mean, not over the top but just NEVER BORING. EVER. Always something happening, which I love in a book.It’s a nice length, and if you’ve read the other books, you’ll have fun seeing some of the characters again. It never fails to put a smile on my face. But I think I was even more excited about some of the cool new characters we get to meet that were just awesome! I won’t spoil anything though, just saying this is one of her pretty action filled books, with a good bit of mystery, which I like.But there were some really heart-warming and emotionally gripping moments that stayed with me long after I put the book down. These are the kinds of books I remember. I strongly recommend not passing this book up. Warning, it will make you want to go through her backlist and buy up the rest.***I also just wanted to note that I think it’s cool that this author writes so many nice full-length standalones and puts a lot of them in KU. It’s a really good deal for shifter readers, and it’s kind of rare to find. If you are in KU, grab them up now.

As always another brilliant book by you,I know that the minute I start reading one of your books that it is going to be amazing,I love all the characters and the plot just keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish,I would definitely recommend these books to everyone they're amazing.

The Mate Challenge (Sassy Mates Series Book 4) by Milly Taiden. Emma is Masons mate. They both know that but Emma is independent to a fault. She cannot take it when Mason tells her what to do to keep her safe. They must work it out.

I absolutely loved reading this one.If you enjoy reading shape shifter romance then you will love it. I can't wait to read the next in the sassy mates series

Loved these stories , that link romance to real life issues, gives it more depth, and makes me not want to put it down .
