Good quality bulbs
Installed 6 bulbs, initially tried to install with ballast intact (Type A) but the bulbs either did not light or were delayed lighting, so bypassed the MagneTek Rapid Start Ballasts (446-L-SLH-TC-P). The bulbs fit the lamp holders and lamp holder spacing well, so no installation issues. I thought the 3500K color temp setting was inaccurate (too yellow) but the 4000K was pleasing and a good match to cool white T12 fluorescents. The claimed 2100 lumens seemed about right and was appropriate for a 2x2 troffer luminaire. The Amazon product description says these use 17.5W, the packaging says they use 15W in both Type A and Type B installations.

No brainer - recommended upgrade
Two of my fluorescent u-bend tubes were failing. The other 2 wouldn't be far behind based on past experience. Going to LED was a no-brainer for savings, but I just wasn't sure about the installation and quality of light. No instructions came with the tubes, but plenty of internet info on this. I was a bit concerned since they were a T8 size and my old ones were T12, but it was not an issue.Install was easy (for my fixture): I pulled the circuit breaker and verified power off and took out the old tubes. I then disconnected the 2 yellow, 2 red, and 2 blue wires that connected to each ballast (and removed the ballast). The red and blues were then wire-nut connected to the black (hot lead) and the yellows went to the white (neutral). The new leds went in with the tube label facing towards the ceiling. It took about 10 minutes per fixture. BTW be careful handling the old glass tubes. It is an absolute mess and hazmat if they break. Results: Very pleased. Nice and bright, but not as warm-toned as I expected for a 3000K bulb. Energy savings aside, I'm glad not to have deal with failed ballasts and fluorescents anymore. So far, very happy with the purchase.

Bypass ballast then they work great
Bulbs seem to work great after ballast bypass wiring is figured out. Hope they last!

Simple drop-in replacement for U-bend fluorescent lamps
I have a fixture in my laundry room which houses two u-bend fluorescent tubes (FB40/T12). They are powered by a Philips RELB-2S40-N ballast. Over the last several years I've had to replace at least 8 tubes as they would eventually have problems turning on; flickering or only lighting up at about 10% intensity. The ends of the tubes are blackened, indicating the death of the lamp.I replaced the ballast a couple of years ago but still had problems with short life from the lamps. It didn't help that the light was frequently turned on for very short periods (bad for fluorescent). Knowing this, I started looking for an LED replacement. After some searching, I found these, looked at the ballast compatibility list and decided to give them a try. If you go to the Luxrite.com website, enter LR23519 in the search field and you'll find some links to .PDF files for installation, specifications and compatibility. Good thing I found this resource before ordering the lamps. While they were well-packed and protected by bubble wrap, there was a dearth of information supplied in the package.Wow, truly plug-and-play! Without changing anything in the ballast setup, or the tombstones, or having to re-wire or bypass (remove) the ballast, these LEDs just plugged right in and worked. If you are not sure what color temperature you need these lamps are great. You can choose from the 3 different "whiteness" settings by moving the slide switch (only when the lights are OFF). 4000K is fine for my use, even though most of my other LEDs in my house are 5000K.These LEDs are about 1/4" longer than the fluorescent tubes they replace. In my ceiling fixture, the u-bends are supported by a thin metal "C" clamp that can be bent backwards enough to accommodate the slightly longer dimension. Check your own fixture before ordering and make sure the support opposite the tombstones can be pushed back a bit.No more worries about flicking on the light for only 5-10 seconds. Hopefully, they will last much longer than the fluorescent tubes that were in there over the past 20+ years. I'll try to keep this review updated if/when anything changes but for now I'm happy.

Good bulbs, terrible instructions.
Great bulbs, lightweight and smaller than the fluorescents they replace. If retrofitting, you may consider some new, smaller clips to hold these in place as the bigger ones don't do much. My ballast was unfortunately not plug and play, and so I had to bypass it. The instructions provided will go down in history as the worst piece of paper known to man. I would have understood more if it were written in Chinese, so prepare to do your own research. I found a handful of videos on YouTube which did the trick. My ballast was an Advanced Transformer Mark III Energy Saver R-2S40-1-TP rapid start if you are wondering. Also, I think the various temperature settings aren't calibrated properly, so if you are looking for an exact match look elsewhere. If not, it's a cool feature to be able to easily change the color of the light.

DO NOT BUY!
Lights were installed by a licensed electrician. After the lights were installed the first day, the lights were nice and bright. We turned on the lights the next day and the lights lost its brightness! We contacted the manufacturer and we told to contact the seller. We contacted the seller and the seller said to hardwire it but that did not work. The seller then said that the lights were not compatible with our lights so return them to Amazon. He was then told that the 30 days had past and he stopped responding! The manufacturer nor the seller will address this issue! DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND NOR FROM THIS SELLER which goes by different names of Bulbs"n"More, topliquidatersin and allstarlighting.com.
