This tea really is the elixir of the Gods!
I suppose technically, it isn't tea, more a herbal infusion but it is one of the best herbal infusions I have ever tasted and has quickly become my favourite.I love the fact that it comes as stalks and it smells amazing when you open the bag. I transfer it into a sealable glass jar and have it out on the counter on display, as well as drinking it.To prepare it I use the flowers of 3 stalks which I then bash using my pestle and mortar. I find that this helps to release the flavour. The smell in the kitchen after bashing them a bit is gorgeous.I brew it for 5 minutes in boiling water, drain and add honey to sweeten. I get a second cup out of it but I do have to brew for 10 minutes. I have a double walled cup with strainer and lid so it doesn't lose much heat. You can also place water in a pan, bring to the boil and then let the stalks boil for 15 minutes. You do get a richer flavour that way but it can be a bit of a phaff. This tea is caffeine free and is rich in antioxidants. It is actually better for you than green tea. It helps you unwind and is a great drink to have before bed.One thing I would say is if you have to sweeten it use honey and not processed sugar. The sugar wipes out some of the goodness in the tea. The honey is natural, easier for your body to process and it has it's own benefits. Not only that but it also enhances the colour of the tea.If you like to drink herbal infusions, then this one should be at the top of your list.

Delicate flavour but far from boring
A lightly flavoured infusion, far from being tasteless. The longer it is brewed the more robust the flavour. Probably best with a drop of honey ( the best for this is Greek honey) but by no means essential. Recommended for anyone who likes a herbal 'tea'.

Best herbal tea
This is my favourite herbal tea. I add honey and lemon or drink on its own. The flavour is delicious and the health benefits are endless. I’m so happy I found it here.

That's the real thing!
Pure Bulgarian mountain tea, better that the greek one to be honest. Best consumed with pure honey and half a lemon every morning before breakfast. It helps in various health issues.
