Q: Is anyone using the rubber dust boot? If so, would it not block the fan, hence causing premature failure?

I am using a rubber boot. The fan is in the headlight, so the air is circulating inside the lamp and is probably not optimal for heat dissipation but the bulbs seem to run cooler than others I have tried. I have about a month on them with no problems.

Q: Will they work with a 2014 Prius?

No, the h4 9003 led headlight bulbs can not fit your 2014 Prius. You need h11 for the low beam and 9005 for the high beam.

Hi, every car is different, look up the type you need on google (H4 H9 etc) and order accordingly. You will be very pleased with this.Just ordered a set for my Dodge Ram!

Since you didn't say what vehicle you have that question can't be answered. Best advice would be to put your vehicles info. into your Amazon garage and when entering that part number it will indicate whether or not that bulb will fit. The lights you have are about as bright as I've seen.
