Pliers are built well and easy to grasp. This saved me time trying to use two sets of pliers to separate chain on a light fixture. Money well spent.

Replacing all of the light fixtures in our house and when I say we struggled with the chains on hanging fixtures, we STRUGGLED. After destroying several chain links trying to get them open and closed neatly, it dawned on me that duh, there has to be a tool specifically for this purpose and lo and behold, this is it (thanks, YouTube!)We tried to find this tool at several home/hardware stores with no luck so thankfully it was available from Amazon. This made life so much easier. We hung a pretty decent sized fixture in our dining room and it was a breeze compared to previous attempts. Unfortunately, it has a pretty limited use but I’m glad we have it and will gladly loan it out to friends who run into the same problem. It seems a little flimsy around the springs but considering this is not something the average homeowner will use probably more than a handful of times ever, it’s totally worth it.

An Electrician’s must have!! No marring or distorting of the chains, easily opens and closes links. Whether you occasionally install a chain light, or do it daily, you can’t lose!

The color is great, and the chains look good and are sturdy.

If you do gardening and may need to lengthen or shorten hanging chains, this is a must-have. The chains are usually very stiff and would be extremely difficult to ply with any other than this chain plier. It makes the task sooo easy.
