Really disappointed with the flow rate. Produce description states that flow is "intensely powerful". The spray on the unit I received is so weak it does not even reach my body unless I hold it directly over my head. Some of the spray settings don't work at all. The water pressure in my home is not as high as it probably should be but I have not had any problems getting adequate flow to operate the other faucets in my bathroom and kitchen. I connected a different showerhead to the hose and the flow was just fine, so the problem is obviously with the Delta hand shower head. I called Delta and they explained that this is "Watersense" certification (see product description) means that it has been certified to meet California low-flow requirements. The stated flow rate of 2 gpm is incorrect. According to Delta this is actually a 1.75 gpm flow showerhead - the lowest flow hand shower they manufacture. The high flow showerhead is not available with the bar and needs to be purchased separately: Delta Faucet 59424-SS-PK. The bar can also be purchased separately but it costs more than the entire assembly (bar, hose and showerhead) purchased as a set so it is cheaper to purchase the entire set and then replace the low-flow showerhead with the high flow head. Don't understand why they won't sell the high-flow hand shower and bar as a set.UPDATE: Showerhead works fine if you take the rubber "O-ring" out of the handle. Manufacturer is apparently not authorized to tell you this, but the "o-ring" is what restricts the flow (many videos on YouTube show how to do this). However, this showerhead has no massage function. With nine different spray patterns you would think that one of them would be massage, but none of the settings create a center spray or focused jet of water.

I have to say, reeeaaaaally frustrating to get my plumber over here and the elbow that is necessary to attach for supply is not included and it isn’t mentioned in specs anywhere that we need to additionally order that in order to install. Not even the installation manual in the box says it’s missing and doesn’t call out the part number. I had to find the part number by going through and reading other buyer’s question regarding this and someone responded with a part number. Aaaarg, why do you guys make things difficult with one small thing that can easily be avoided through a line item that says elbow 50560-ss not included!

Works great. Has several options for pressure/flow on the head. Was surprised that we were able to get good water pressure from this head while also running the rain shower head at the same time. Would buy again. Looks great. The Grab bar is extremely solid and well made and attaches firmly. The movable holder feels light but well made. The lever moves to lock in place or by raising/lowering it the mount can be easily repositioned. Nice feature. The Shower head itself is plastic and feels disposable but the play/pause button is the most usable feature. The shower selectors don't seem to add a lot of value and the plastic feel isn't reassuring. Flow isn't as good as I would prefer. The metal hose is extremely well made and flexible. Overall a very good buy and it looks very good with my other Delta Stainless (brushed) controls. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again. The plastic strap on the mount was damaged when I received the product but a quick call to Delta and they shipped a replacement which I received in a couple of days. Customer Service is excellent.

amazing quality for our new shower. reviewing look and feel right now. I will update later on how the finish holds up. My experience with Delta is...WIPE IT DOWN AND DO NOT USE HARSH CHEMICALS. It will destroy the finish. We wanted our shower to be classy but handicap friendly. We also used Delta handrails in the shower. make sure you order that little cover for the hose. you will need it. Adjustable arm is sturdy. it looks beautiful.UPDATE 8/12/2020, 17 months later, the finish is still beautiful. We DO wipe it off and have not used cleaners on it. We changed out the handset of this ONLY because I needed more pressure for my very thick hair. We saved the other because we can easily switch it out if we need it. We still give it 5 stars. Btw, we also have delta handicap rails in the oil rubbed bronze that have held up perfectly.

We gutted our bathroom. I wanted a hand shower on a pole. This one is awesome. Very pleased with it. Many reviewers for a regular pole style said the pole is too slim and when you tilt the hand shower down, the hose hits the wall and has a hard time tilting down. Well, this one is awesome! Because it's a grab bar, it's solid and the pole is thicker (and is spaced away from the wall for your hand to fit when grabbing) so the hand shower has no trouble tilting down at all. I decided to just have the hand shower be the only shower as the hand shower head is big enough to feel like a standard shower head. If it isn't, there are many kinds and sizes of hand showers you could swap it for. Pressure is good. I like the one hand adjustment lever. Yes, you can force it to slide down without using the lever (not that you should do that), but it holds in place great. People also complained that the wall elbow wasn't included. Well, of course it's not included.. you could be hooking this up to a tub faucet and wouldn't need the elbow. Overall, we really love how it turned out!!

I purchased this unit to install into a large shower for an elderly person.Three months latter the height adjustment handle will no longer grip the vertical rod to lock it in position.The poor design ensures premature wear.Look for a better designed product.Buyer beware.
