I have installed my new breaker and it appears to be as described. I have tested it also but have not used it for any length of time yet in a saltwater environment on ocean going boat.

It was delivered quick and was just as advertised

used this with 2 AWG cable and the moment was pushing 80A for 10 min and 100A for another 15 so become quite hot (hard to touch) after this time. I wonder if the current was going higher if this would survive. In general was easy to install but the downside to me was the contact between lug and terminal - very small. Not sure why this is not larger (see image).

I’m really satisfied with this product. It was replacing an old fuse that had blown and it was no good came right in time made my system perform like it was supposed to.

The lugs for the 250 amp breaker are nowhere near big enough to carry 100 amps let alone 250. The bolts they attach to are too small to attach serious lugs to as well. I saw a 200 amp breaker in a store and it had ends you would feed your wires into them totem down. I could put my thumbs into those holes. Where my pinky finger wouldn’t fit in the provided lugs for this breaker.

Used this so I could move a battery to the front of my Jon Boat and have a quick shutoff etc near my seat at the back
