Melissa & Doug Pilot Role Play Costume Set (6 pcs) - Jacket, Tie, Hat, Wings, Steering Yoke, Checklist

I purchased 6 of these costumes for my grandsons to play dress for Christmas gifts! The quality is amazing! The look of these costumes awesome! My son in law is making a rack for these that will stand in their playroom. Great gifts from grammie and Papa!!

Arrived on time, needed a pilots hat for our daughters occupation day at school so I ordered one separately but then ordered this outfit as a backup in case the hat didn’t fit or my daughter didn’t like it...but good thing I ordered this outfit because the pilots hat I ordered separately didn’t arrive in time! She only used the hat and the plastic wings from this outfit for school (we live in Hawaii it was too hot to wear the jacket) but both her and her sister enjoy wearing the whole thing for dress up, really happy about it arriving on time and looking like a real pilots uniform:) also, I was worried it would be too small because she is a very tall 5 year old (65lbs and 4ft3in) but it actually fit her just fine, her sister is 3 and will grow into it nicely:)

My nephew loves to pretend to fly a plane (ie the living room) and I got this for his second birthday. He loves it, it fits him super well and the steering wheel (?) is honestly his favorite part. I did only give it 3 stars for durability because the pilot wings come off really easily and don’t stay on well. It would be easy to permanently attach it to the jacket. Also 4 stars for quality of material because it comes with a paper pilot guide and I don’t know that it will hold up. ( it’s also not a critical part of the costume and my nephew was not attached to either of those items so I didn’t remove stars from the total.) it’s a great dress up outfit!

Very cute set! As with most M&D toys, this is nicely made and looks very authetic at a good price. Jacket fit my 4ft, 5lb four year old perfectly. Set contains a hat (which is soft, no card topper but kept it's shape nicely and stayed on his head for long periods), jacket (with inner shirt and a velcroed tie), wing pin that slides onto a loop (this wasn't a secure fixture and the pin did go missing before I could stitch it on. Would recommend parents do this before giving costume to child!), foam steering wheel and checklist card which fits in pocket. The material is polyester, but seems hard wearing and easy to clean. I did have to sew a button back on after it fell off on the third wearing.

We used this as a Halloween costume, but it’s so well made, it is now used for dress up. It’s very durable, and the Velcro closures make it easy to put on and take of; my son can do it independently. It came with several accessories, including a steering wheel and wings! The details made this costume so much more real for my son. He felt like a real pilot. It is a great value for the price!

We bought this for halloween-my son is using it for airport trips--and even wore it on book character day. Everyone went nuts. High quality--really cute and easy on and off with velcro. Comes with a flight check list, wings, and a yolk so you can pretend like you're a real pilot. Love it.

I had gotten him an airport playset for Christmas and added this--really cute, appears to be sturdy and well made. He loved it.

This is adorable! I got this for my 5 year old to wear for career day and he loved it. It would also make a great Halloween costume. FYI the white shirt is built in. That is something I wondered before I ordered it.

My son is 3.5 years old and it fits him nicely. Little on a bigger side but expected as it’s 3-6 years. Very happy :)

Our 4 year old Grandson absolutely loves this set. He particularly enjoys ‘flying’ the plane with the control yoke. The gold braid and big buttons look suitably impressive for a captain and the hat fits beautifully. A joy to see his face when he opened the parcel on Christmas Day.
