Not happy
Honestly don’t know how this functions because it had been sent to me used with white crust on the camera plastic.

Horrible worthless junk
Everything about this “microscope” is infuriating. The wifi won’t stay connected for more than 2 minutes. Once it does connect the camera errors out after 30 seconds. If you wiggle the wires then you can sometimes get it to reconnect, but then the wifi drops and you start the cycle over. The micro spice is also very blurry, I’m pretty sure the specs are off because if you put something closer to the lens you can see it, but the light around the lens blocks flat objects from getting close enough. Lesson learned, don’t waste your money here.

Husband is enjoying it
Got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! It comes with a few slides already set as well as some blanks which is nice. He works in a laboratory and has always been fascinated by anything under a scope. It was packaged very well and comes with everything you need to keep it clean.

Magnification is not as advertised
It' not nearly 1000x, more like 30-50x. I also have their other product that is a smartphone attachment and costs about $35 and I really like it. I get way better magnification (my smartphone optical magnification 5X multiplied by attached tinyscope's magnification). This product is just too expensive for what you get.

Small, easy to use, impressive image quality; can be used with pc webcam software or mobile app
If you are going to use it with your phone, you need to download the app, which is free. All you have to do is use the included USB-C/USB-A cord and the appropriate adapter (in my case, the USB-A/micro USB adapter) and plug it into your phone. There is no additional power source needed. The camera doesn’t require charging. It runs off of your phone’s battery. The app has tutorial videos, which is nice because there isn’t really much in the way of explanation for how to use the app in the included manual. The little box has a camera at the center, and surrounding the camera is a ring light. Once it’s connected to your phone and you have the app open, you can start testing it out to see how far from something you need to be and how to get the best image. There are some settings in the app that allow you to have auto or manual focus, auto or manual white balance, and auto or manual exposure. The autos mostly work fine, though I did have to adjust the white balance.I was really impressed with the image quality coming from this tiny camera. It’s a lot of fun to play around with. There are some included slides, and you can make some water slides. They look to be standard slides, so you probably wouldn’t have much trouble obtaining a lot of different pre-made slides if that’s something you’d want. The wifi box is also very easy to use. Instead of plugging the camera into the phone, you plug it into the wifi box. The wifi box has a rechargeable battery inside, so this box powers the camera and itself. In order to connect your phone to the camera, you have to go into your wifi settings and connect to the wifi box’s signal that it broadcasts. This worked just as well as connecting it to my phone. You can also connect this to a computer. I plugged it into my Windows 10 pc, and it automatically downloaded the necessary drivers. You can then use your own camera program to open up this camera like you would a webcam.I honestly didn’t expect much from this, but it impressed me. It’s easy to use and works well. Hopefully the build quality is good and it lasts.

Easiest Setup I Ever Experienced.
I want to thank Alibaba Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. owners of Tinyscope.com for creating a program that is so incredibly easy to setup anyone can do it. They even provide some steps that are not necessary in order to get to full usability.Anyhow onto the microscopic camera. You can see from the two photographs just how incredible this microscopic scanner is. The first photo is actually my loose-leaf notebook and the blue color is the fine lines on the page, and the black color is ink from my ball point pen. I provided the second photo which is a macro so you can see the position of the equipment that generated the first photo. They also provide you with slides so you can mount slivers of material for introspection. This is not a joke, or kids toy hence the price. It can come in handy for a myriad of uses, and is small and light enough to fit in your shirt pocket. All you really need for doing surface scans is the unit, and the USB cable; nothing else. It comes with a carrying pouch so you can put it into your shirt pocket in an orderly fashion even with an unraveled cord inside. You could find this especially useful if you have jewelry such as a diamond and want to get a magnified photograph of it before bringing it to the jewelers to have some work done on it. We all know how easy it is for a jeweler to swap out a stone that to the naked eye looks exactly the same, but through a 10X scope which is the typical scope a jeweler uses, and this microscope camera is 40X to 1000X. A perfect diamond that is completely clear can sell for many times the price as one that has carbon black deposits in it. The temptation is clear, I know most jewelers are honorable, and build reputations, but it is calming to know you have photographic proof of what you dropped off. The uses are endless. This is something you don't normally need to use on a regular basis, but when you do, it just may pay for itself many times over.

Cheap but Super Strong! A perfect portable microscope you may not want to miss!
The media could not be loaded. I am a researcher in a university. This portable microscope is the best one I got till now. I like the autofocus functionality so much since it solves the pain point of most similar products in the market. The software interface is very friendly and covers most of my needs. It should be noted that the resolution is quite high up to around 2 um, which is similar to the traditional desktop one (e.g., Olympus) under 10X objective lens. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone.
