Great product...follow directions
I love to cook and one of my favorite Thai dishes is Green Curry but I've never been able to find Kaffir Lime leaves at my local international market. Well I buy pretty much everything else on Amazon so I figured I'd check and sure enough, I found these. They arrived promptly (thanks Prime) and I was whipping up some Thai Green Curry the next day. The bag looks small but there are a TON of leaves in this package so it will last you a long time. My only advice is to follow directions closely. The recipe I use calls for 2-3 leaves. These are not overly fragrant so I figured that would not be enough and I added more than the recommendation which made the dish overly citrus-y.I would buy these again but unless you cook with them daily this package should last you a while.

DRIED KAFFIR LIME LEAVES!
I am disappointed at the false advertising here. The picture clearly shows fresh lime leaves, and the product description says "never use dried kaffir lime leaves."Which leads you to believe that they are fresh. I was surprised to find that from amazon but I thought maybe fresh would last if vacuum packed. Anyway... these are dried leaves, and although they do smell good, I will not take the risk of ruining a big batch of curry paste. I would not buy this again.

Read this to find out what you'll REALLY get (spoiler...dry leaves)
I was under the impression that these were fresh leaves since the pictures show vibrant, bright green leaves. Also in the "about the product" section, one of the bullets says never to use dry leaves since they lose the oils. They also list all these ways to use the leaves by tearing or shredding in salads. I was a little surprised to see that I could buy fresh Kaffir leaves on amazon, but then...HERE'S THE TRUTH: What you will get is a bag of crumbly, bone-dry leaves. In terms of color, they're somewhere between brown and green. They smell good though. I haven't used them in my Tom Yum soup yet, so I can't speak to the flavor but will come back with an updated review. At $7.99 for an add-on item, I'll keep them since I have no other alternative. An updated (truthful) product update would be nice though.

This product was not accurately billed as being dried kaffir lime leaves. As a result you need to use a ton of these to achieve the same flavor punch that a couple of fresh lime leave would provide.

When I purchased these, the product name did not state that they were dried. The product description also stated how inferior dried leaves were compared to fresh and that their product was superior because it was not dried. When I received the product it was basically pulverized and totally useless to me.

A little weak on flavor
The fragrance is a little weak and the flavor didn't overwhelm me.

Not Fresh Leaves
Buyer beware! These are dried leaves, not fresh as indicated, and they are not eligible for return. I think Amazon should address the false advertising as many people are disappointed with this product. I certainly am, because I ordered them for a dish I planned to cook for guests tonight!
