The lighting effects are super fun. These are by far my new favorite Christmas decoration this year. I’m going to be ordering a few more sets!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  First the positives: I like these because they have sixteen different colors, including white, and they stand still (it says seventeen lights in the product description, but it's sixteen). They have several color patterns all of which move. The brighter/dimmer switch comes in handy because the kids will pick a color (to use as a nightlight) and you can make the lights dim so they are not making the room too bright. Those options seem to not work with the moving light patterns, though. It's also water proof and can be used even inside a fish tank! The clips are also very easy to screw in, but I do not recommend an electric screwdriver because it seems it will crack the plastic.The problem is the remote control. There is an off timer after four, six, and eight hours which comes in handy. The problem with that is the lights won't turn back on using the on button afterwards; you have to use the "time off" button and that took a little time to figure out. The on button in general has trouble working. Sometimes you will have to push it three or four times before it reacts. It's the same with the "flash" and "smooth" buttons. You push them more than once to get them to change patterns sometimes. It's also very light weight and small which makes it fragile. I would not recommend to let kids use it.It does not come with enough clips. It's ten clips for thirty-nine feet which is approximately one clip every four feet. The problem, though, is the clips are very loose and allows the rope of lights to freely slide around. This means if you do put them four feet apart they will bubble out and you won't get a smooth straight line. They need to be two and a half, or three feet at most, apart and it helps control the loop problem better.I would rather it came with a regular outlet plug. I think it is very annoying and silly to use a USB instead.I think this product is good to try out. I will edit my review if I come across any problems. It works good so far.

I will add an extension cord so I can get the entire deck rail, but the pluses are that this is a usb outlet with plenty of leading wire before the lights, incredible number of colors or flashing combinations, and even a timer feature. I was also impressed that there are clips and screws in the box, which will allow me to Install them a little more permanently. I’m thinking these will look great year round with the availability of color choices. When using the timer feature, you can be sure it’s set since the sun portion turns green! UPDATE: can it get better? Yes! I put the timer on last night. 24 hours later they came on again for another 6 hours! Set it once and you’re good!!!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This 120 LED rope light set is just what my son has been wanting for his room. These lights accent his tv/gaming area perfectly. He's thrilled with them. It includes a remote control that you can also use to change the color of the lights (16 different color varieties ) and change the mode (8 different modes). These lights also have a timer which I love! You can use multiple timer settings. The box also has a set of 10 screws and 10 clear mounting clips to make it easier to hang up or mount the lights where you want them. The lights are bright and colorful. I tried to include more pictures and videos to show all of the varieties but my photography skills are not so great, haha. Make sure that you have the ability to power the lights by USB because the cord uses USB connect instead of a regular plug.

Very affordable and great value. Everything works well as advertised, easy to use and very intuitive. Tons of options on colors, pulses, flashes, etc. Very fun and adaptable to all kinds of uses. Nearly 40 ft is a ton of length, which helps the value, but it is a lot of rope.I just like to make sure the people are aware this is a USB powered rope light. You can certainly plug it into a USB AC adapter, but one is not included, so just be conscious of that if you're looking for something different. Because of that, I'm not sure I'd use it outside, but I'm sure there are plenty of ways to weatherproof that.Indoors, these days, we have all kinds of USB wall outlets and extra plugs laying around as well.Overall, great rope light, solid value and plenty of flexibility on what you can use it for to decorate your house! Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is a very cool rope light, with multiple settings and a handy remote control. The remote has to be pointing directly at the USB to work properly, but besides the remote, the USB has a button with additional options (in case the remote is lost). The USB has a long cable, to help you reach a nearby outlet without wasting lights. For display, I attached it to the garage door siding with binder clips, which worked as an excellent non-permanent connector, and used a fun green and red alternating setting over Christmas. It does not come with a USB cube, but no big deal, everyone has those around these days (I used one from my many phone chargers). It is packaged in a tight coil, but it will straighten out (in the video you can see a coiled section remains at the bottom of the garage door simply because it was left over). The rope light remembers the last setting, in case it comes unplugged.
