Kane vs the Planner! An exciting Urban Mystery
Kane is an amazing urban mystery that blends urban culture, dialect, and lifestyle in a mystery/thriller that leaves a reader wanting more! Meet Kane- a former elite athlete who was sent to jail but eventually found innocent of murder. His life spiraled from there. After his father's murder, he and his girlfriend concoct this plan for a bank robbery, even involving others in their plot, which also happened to garner a significant criminal figure's attention (The Planner). Kane must now juggle all this carefully not to fall into an FBI agent's trap or into/under the Planner's sway. Using gritty street language, the author weaves an exciting novel. Looking forward to the next in the series!

One word: Memorable
It seems like everything about this story is memorable, from the characters' names to their relationships with one another and everything that happens to every one of them. I find myself reluctant to give anything away, especially given the fact that I couldn't peel my eyes away from the Kindle screen from the second I started reading. It's completely compelling, and even more relative to some of the things we are facing in American society today. Interesting to think of the title "Perfect Family" and what makes all of our families perfect today. I personally recommend!

Good read. Easy to follow. Left you wanting more.
I liked how quick it got you to the point. The story gave you what you needed to know and moved on. No overly described locations. Gave you the space to create your own scene and use your imagination.

Couldn’t Put It Down
From the first chapter, Kane: The Perfect Family had me completely hooked. What seems like a picture-perfect family slowly unravels into a dark, disturbing story full of secrets, lies, and shocking twists. The writing is smooth and suspenseful, and each chapter left me needing to know more. If you’re into true crime or psychological thrillers that make you question everything, this book is for you. One of the best reads I’ve had in a while!

Mesmerizing!
Kane: The Perfect Family by King Coopa J is an urban fiction that mixes suspense, thriller, and humor together. I don’t know if the author intended for this novel to be funny, but when your back is against the wall and the only thing left is robbing a bank, that’s comical. Kane was still in high school when he first went to jail. It was a set-up, but he knew who the actual killer was. When he is found innocent, Kane finds life at home has changed and he no longer has his father’s support. Things only get worse from there. I found Kane fascinating as King Coopa J weaves his own personal experience into the plot. The author knows the lingo and attitude that comes from his characters, making this novel feel authentic. I liked how the story switched between Kane, Abel, and the FBI detective, Jordan. I read this book quickly since I couldn’t put it down. Now onto the sequel!
