Q: I have a mongoose alert bike for my son, will these work on those handlebars?

Almost every handlebar in the world is 7/8 inch diameter, these fit that. However, these are short (90mm, about 3.5 inches long) for use with grip shifts. If you don't have grip shifts, you can use these, but you might want to look for the standard length (120-150mm, about 4.5 inches) instead.

Q: What is the outer diameter of these grips?

I don't know if there is a standard size on adult bicycles but these grips would have fit any one of the 3 I have. They are short and work with the bicycles that have shifters.

Q: What is the ID of this product?

I think ID means inside diameter. It may be 20mm.

Q: do these handel bar grips come with end caps?

Yes they are built right into the grip. I cut mine out for the fact they had to slide on far enough to leave room a handle horn on each end of the handle bar, very satisfied they worked out great for me.

After 1 month. Looks great. Easy to install, feels very comfortable in the hand. It is about 1 cm long for my rudder but this does not affect me.Se ve muy bien. Facil de instalar, se siente muy comodo en la mano. Queda como 1 cm largo para mi timon pero esto no me afecta.
