Will this fit a South Bend lathe?

If the lathe spindle takes MT3 (Morse Taper #3) it will fit. Please take a measurement on the spindle slot (where you put the shank in) . If the Dia of the slot hole is $0.94" , it is a MT3. If the Dia is 0.70", it is a MT2. (we do have MT2 model available as well).

JT 3 means Jacobs Taper #3 which normally refers to the connection mount type between the drill chuck and the arbor, NOT the mount size for th arbor and drill press spindle. If your drill press has MT3 )morse Taper no. 3) spindle, this drill chuck with arbor will work. The measurement for MT3 is 0.94" (the hole Dia of spindle).
