Cadet Premium Grade Pressed Beef Hide Bones 8" 6 Count

I am to blame for not reading the other bad reviews on this product.Despite the product description the following: SOURCED FROM FREE-RANGE CATTLE - Made with a premium-quality beef hide for a chew you can give with confidenceINSPECTED FOR QUALITY - All chews and treats undergo a rigorous inspection process to guarantee they meet Cadet's high standardsThey neglect to state anywhere that this product is sourced in China!!!! As all responsible dog owners know, the quality controls in China are never to be trusted despite the guarantees of premium-quality. Can't return it! Don't buy it! What a waste! Amazon stop promoting this product!

We have only ever bought pressed rawhide bones for our dogs because they last a long time and don't splinter or choke our dogs.... That was until this batch came. The outer shell looked normal so I didn't think twice about giving this to my dog but only after a minute did the bone start coming apart in pieces! My dog then noticed I was removing it from him so he started swallowing large shards of rawhide which then lead to him throwing up large shards of rawhide! Not sure if this was just a bad bag or what but I had no choice but to throw away NOT CHEAP bones to save my dog.Going back to a different brand and hoping for better bones.

I've bought these bones from the same company in the past. They were 8" and solid. These are hallow in the middle with a little slice of material at each end to make it appear to be solid. Returning this product because it also says "Made in China". Disappointed that the company doesn't carry the same standards across all their manufacturing.

I use these about once a week, as part of a rotation of different rawhide and natural bone products. They usually don't jump to chew on these, but if I leave them around, they will start eventually. If I coat them with peanut butter, or let them soak a few minutes in concentrated beef or chicken broth, the dogs started chewing on them. These last a LONG time! No other product on the market lasts as long. If they coated them with a product made from Tripe, they'd be the best loved product on the market. I have a puffed tripe product as a food topper and it's like doggy crack cocaine LMBO

the reason I always buy only the presssed rawhide chews for my dogs is that when properly made, they last much longer than the other kinds of rawhide chews and only small portions get soft enough at one time for the dog to pull off and swallow...Unfortunately this brand of rawhide chews that I just bought for the first time came apart very quickly and turned out to look rather like just pieces of rolled rawhide inside the thin bone shaped rawhide on the outside...terrible since that is just what I wanted to avoid. I won't buy this brand again. It shouldn't be called pressed rawhide...."wrapped rawhide" is more like it.I took some photos to show just how much these particular chews DON'T hold up, but I can't get photos to paste into this review...will add them later if I figure out how...

Labrador retrievers are notorious chewers. My two dogs love these rawhide bones. You have to supervise so that the dog doesn't swallow chunks it shouldn't. Sometimes, my lab pup stands on the bone and holds it down while he pulls it apart with his teeth. I really have to watch him. I have tried some of the white rolled bones (more expensive) and my two dogs end up unrolling them instead of chewing them so that what is left is a sheet of rawhide which they soon lose interest in.

Amazon and CADET should be ashamed of themselves for actually charging any amount of money for these completely unacceptable and inferior pieces of junk - - they are not only hollow , they shred into very dangerously sharp pieces- I want my money back - even though I’m sure that won’t happen! I should have given the $20 to my dog to eat- it would have been safer!SHAME ON YOU!!!!I tried zero stars but that’s not an option!

Our dog is a hardcore chewer. These are the only bones that we buy. We have had to pull a chunk out of his throat before, but that’s because he can be a ding dong and try to swallow big pieces. We now make sure we keep an eye on him when he’s chewing on one. These bones are the only ones that keep him interested and busy, so we are just careful to watch him.

6 1/2" bones. Sat at customs for 5 days. My 10 m old lab puppy goes through 1 in a couple of hours.
